Class Sequence
In order to carry on a school excursion to the Melbourne
museum it is really important to form a small group so
that students can develop the team working sprit and take
up the project in a proper manner (Head et al. 2015).
Milari Garden Trail has been selected is that students get
a very good and useful opportunity for seeing the useful
plants that were used by the Aboriginal people for many
different purposes (Major, Smith and Mackay 2018).
 Students were explained about the museum trip and the
purpose behind it. In a class of about 30 students, they
were asked to divide themselves into 5 groups each with 6
members.

Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Melbourne
Museum (Schorch 2015). This part of the
Melbourne Museum was selected so that the
students can develop a proper understanding
about the Aboriginal culture and also about the
different aspects of the indigenous lives.
This part of the museum was considered so
that the students can get a very unique kind of
experience. They have never been able to go on
such a unique kind of experience.

Artifacts
This part of the Melbourne Museum is very
interesting as visitors will be able to see many
different kinds of tools and implements. The
part is beautifully decorated with different
kinds of trees that were actually used by the
Aboriginals in their lives.
Within Milarri is an outdoor performance space
and a collaborative sculpture titled Biamie, the
Rainbow Serpent by Clive Atkinson, a Yorta
Yorta artist, and Domonic Benhura, a Shona
artist from Zimbabwe.

Interactive curriculum learning
One element of the curriculum was to get
involved in group projects.
The project was about collecting small
samples of plant or make drawings of the
same in order to understand about the deep
connection that was shared by the Aboriginal
people and the different flora or the plants
(Bach, Kull and Rangan 2019).

Creativity, Judgment and Knowledge
Students realized that they have to be
creative in order to collect the samples of
plants and understand the deep intimate
relation that the Aboriginals shared with
them.
