Curriculum goals refer to the broad statement that helps an individual in achieving long
term outcome. The curriculum goals are far reaching as compared to objectives and they help the
student in becoming productive member of the society. The education sector is an important
sector that has connections with the society and it can help in developing the national economy
(Elyas & Picard, 2018). The global trends have shaped the education system in Saudi Arabia and
they are aimed at improvement of the environment in the education Department and on
decentralization of administration. This essay discusses about the curriculum goals as it prevails
in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia wants to drive the intellectual along with cultural progress with the help of
the curriculum goals. According to Aldabas (2015), the curriculum goals of Saudi Arabia are
aimed at diversification of the economy and it wants to provide equal access to education to all
