High Level Description For departmental, institutional and remote access
The company develops an integrated system in
form of PRIMEFLEX for combination of storage,
servers, software and network connectivity
(Fujitsu.com 2019).
Benefit Statement PRIMEFLEX is an integrated system developed by
the leading Japanese Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) Company. It
provides an integration of servers, network
connectivity and storage. This means the integrated
system can be used for bulk storage, which is very
much suitable for departmental and institutional
usage. The integration of servers will establish a
remote connection between remotely placed servers
and provide a remote access to its users. This
means data can be accessed from anywhere in the
world. Since, it provides connectivity between
remotely placed servers it provides a huge storage
capacity to store important and company specific
data (Fujitsu.com 2019). For example, cloud
servers (Rao and Selvamani 2015). FUJITSU

to handle complex and large tasks will increase.
FUJITSU Integrated System PRIMEFLEX reduces
the amount of complexity and risk. Nevertheless,
there is always a risk in accessing to remotely
connected servers (Arabo 2015). An integrated
system as provided by the company also reduces
cost and shortens the processing time. This rightly
serves the purpose of an HPC system. An HPC
system came to the existence when the cost of
computing for complex tasks was hugely
expensive. PRIMEFLEX for HPC computing
solutions is an optimized framework. This helps
incorporating software components, hardware and
services with HPC (Fujitsu.com 2019). It provides
a complete solution to support and services. It
provides a reliable HPC environment for a trouble
free operation and proven performance. It contains
a pre-built automated workflow packages. This will
make HPC easier to use. Moreover, the team
performance will also become more productive
(Fujitsu.com 2019).
Customer Pain High Performance Computing (HPC) has
traditionally been in use in variety of tasks like
crash tests, scientific researches and seismic
modeling of oil reservoirs. HPC has delivered in
past and is now expanding in its applicability for a
