INTRODUCTION
Food industry is one of the growing business trends across worldwide as people have
become interested to have more tasty, delicious and healthy food products in order to satisfy their
wants. There are numerous activities covered in food industries starting form processing,
preparation or conversion to preservation and packaging of food stuffs so that best quality can be
offered to customers. There are several skills required to build future career in food industry such
as creative, digital skills, better communication, time management and to make and offered
customers food in best possible manner so that they are motivated to be part of organisation for
longer time frame. This report is based on CW1 that has effective evaluated career perspective so
on the basis of key information about food industry, key skills required. This report will conduct
personal analysis in order to identify whether skills, knowledge or capabilities are present in me
or not so that strategies can be planned to improve them for bright future ahead.
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
For enhancement of existing skills and capabilities, personal analysis is useful as it helps
in identify types of skills that are presented in individual and that are need to be developed for
growth and success in professional career. SWOT analysis is an effective model that helps in
conducting personal audit by identifying key strength, weakness, threat and opportunities
available for individuals in near future circumstances. Therefore, SWOT analysis is done in
order to reflect on my key skills in which I excel that will helps me in making best utilisation of
available opportunities (Lategan and Williams, 2019). At the same time identifying weakness so
that better idea or action can be planned to improved them in order to remove threat or obstacle.
SO, personal analysis of myself is done as follows:
Strength: One of my biggest strength is that I have effective communication and interpersonal
skills which contributed me in sharing crucial information to other individuals in limited time
frame. I have capabilities to influence and build relationship with other person by understanding
its point of view and preferences. It can be evidence from my previous project as I have written
the content in more good manner or with appropriate heading and subheading so that reader can
that quickly understand the crucial information without much problem. I had good digital skills
which will have me to make more use of innovative and digital technology to accomplish several
task and contributed in achievements of end goals. I spend my lot of time in using digital

technologies for different purpose like getting knowledge or to have fun and entertainment
therefore it has contributed it in making one my strength in order to take competitive advantages.
Excellent customers services skills is another strength of myself as in my work experienced my
employer has said that I effectively understand customers needs which helped me in delivering
services that are beyond their expectancy (Shyju and Singh, 2019). Therefore, in short it can be
illustrated from above analysis that digital, communication and excellent customers services are
key areas in which I excel that can contribute in achieving greater success in future career in
food industry.
Weakness: It is element of SWOT analysis that helps in identifying weakness of myself so that
necessary improvement or enhancement can be made for achievements of short and long terms
goals. I have founded that I have unable to work in team as per feedback of previous working
experienced as there were different individuals with different perception and value so it is
difficult for me to coordinate with them for completion of desired task. Another key areas in
which I lack is resolving problems as there are many circumstances in my personal as well as in
professional career where I could not able to find appropriate solution of the problem. It can also
be illustrated that I am unable to take timely decision that may be act as fruitful as it get confused
about what will be correct method to complete task. I also lack in budget making skills which is
also necessary in any profession career as a post of manager in order to arrange sufficnet finance
for business (Jaykumar, 2018). Therefore, from my relevant feedbacks and previous experienced
I have decided to overcome my weakness so that in future I can able to get higher success and
achievements.
Opportunities: It has been identified in CW1 that there are various opportunities in food
industry in coming years due to increasing demand and future trends so I have opportunities to
get best career in the same field in future circumstances. At the same time there are many
enterprises in food industry that wants to have highly talented, skilled and qualified employees in
order to delivery best services to end customers. So, my strength that is better customers
services, interpersonal skills or communication and digital will helps in getting employment in
one of the reputable organisation of United kingdom. I have good command on digital skills that
are needs by most of the employer so this skill will help me in gaining competitive advantages
more than other individuals in similar field.

Threat: There are some of future threats that can impact on my future career such as changed in
trends or preferences of individuals, government policies or increase in competition. Because it
can be analysed that there are several people that have good skills and capabilities that are
needed in food industry (Meyers, 2017). So, all other individuals that have more skills,
knowledge then me act as future threat.
CAREER ACTION PLAN
On the basis of above understanding it can be illustrated that I need to improve my
existing skills, knowledge in order to get my dream employment or start business of The Frozen
Yogurt shop in food industry. Therefore, key strategies that I have planned in order to remove
my weakness for better career can be are explained through personal development plan or table
below such as:

same time I want to summarise that I will effective use career plan to work on my existing
