SUMMARY
Portfolio is defined as compilation of academic or educational evidences which are
assembled for evaluating coursework and academic achievements as well as determining that
learning standards as per the requirements of courses are met or not (Bakhshi and Et. Al., 2017).
Moreover, it creates lasting archives and helps students in reflecting towards academic goals.
These are in various forms such as physical portfolio, online portfolio and so on. Portfolio plays
important role in a student life as it encourages students to undertake ownership along with
responsibility for learning procedures and assignments. Being a student, for me the rationale of
portfolio is that it supports good instructions, improves teaming along with serves other purposes
also. It assists in exhibiting efforts, progresses addition to achievement in various fields. At the
time of attending FY026 classes, I developed my understanding for various topics in detailed
addition to structured manner which help me in improving my skills together with knowledge for
diverse topics. Various materials are required for populating understandable portfolio. For
populating the portfolio, I choose various materials or topics including Introduction to TIC,
Success, Analyse, Data Interpretation, Critical evaluation, Coursework 1, Module description,
Presentation 1, Presentation 2, Sites, preparing for success 1 and Preparing for success 2.
There are different reasons for choosing different material of topic. The topic of
Introduction to TIC is chosen because it provides better understanding for my habits or
behaviour in education and exercises involved in it helps me to enhance my knowledge for the
learning and development. Analyse topic is chosen for generating ideas about frameworks to
examine the situations. The topic of success is chosen as to develop idea about what actually
success means to me and various fields through which I can achieve success. Choice of data
interpretation topic is to develop information related to advantages and limitations of data
interpretation. Moreover, Critical Evaluation is selected with the reason to know what arguments
are in favour and what arguments are against of something. It provides strengths of evidences on
both aspects that are positive and negative. The concept of module descriptor is selected as to
know the statements considering which some module is to be prepared. The module descriptor
provides basis to prepare some module. The other choice of material is presentation 1. that is
selected by me for improving my skills for the things that are to be considered while preparing
and presenting any topic. In addition, reason for selecting Presentation 2 topic is to gain insights
for the activities to be undertaken while presenting something to others at university or other
