2. Reflect on who you are based on the results, do you agree or not?
Based on the answers provided in the survey, it appears to me that there are equivalent
scores of both emotional connections as well as social media integrations.
As I have always liked to communicate emotionally to other persons using the social
media for the special topics in which I have interests, I provided the scores of the survey
accordingly (Ngai, Tao & Moon, 2015).

3. What social media platforms do you use?
Answer: Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, and YouTube are the various platforms of social
media that I mostly use.
4. For what purpose do you use each platform? If you don’t use any, why?
Answer: The purpose of the different platforms of social media that I use is provided below:
Facebook: I use this social media platform for communicating with friends, arranging
meetings, viewing the news feed and observing different interests.

Whatsapp: I use this social media platform for communicating with friends as well as family.
In this media communication between groups of contact can also be done.
Instagram: This is a social media platform, which is mainly used for viewing photos of
different fields as well as of friends. In this platform communication between friends can also
be done.
YouTube: I view YouTube for partaking comments as well as discussions on the videos that I
watch to gain information from this videos as well as videos of entertainment.

5. How would you characterize the quality and content of your social media use? To
answer this question, you may want to try referring to some of your posts/shares/etc.
Answer: I think that social media has many things to deliver us such as effective information
regarding the news as well as the information provided by the groups, channels and pages are
effective. This information is gained on the topics of my interest.
6. What kinds of things do you share?
Answer: The contents of social media that I share includes reviews, videos, articles and blog
posts which are related to sports, computer technologies, current affairs and trends in
software technology.
7. How often and with whom?
Answer: I at least once daily share the above domain related contents. I share the posts that
can be viewed generally by everyone. I carry out my personal conversations mostly via
Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp as well as Instagram chat. I share funny videos or memes
privately with my friend or selected family members.

8. Why do you feel you need to share certain information?
Answer: I share the contents based on the several criteria especially based on the content of
the posts. Many contents that I share are related to social views as well as includes
technological advancement regarding the IT technologies. I also share some funny videos
only to have fun among my friend groups (Hudson et al., 2015). The primary reason is that
the posts are informative as well as used to wish people for any kind of occasions and
festivals.

9. How does your social media use relate to how you view yourself?
Answer: I use my social media profiles mainly to provide feedbacks for interesting fields.
Moreover, I use them to express my attachments in the fields of games, sport events, stand up
comedies and technologies.
10. What aspects do you think have contributed to your identity and sense of self, and
why?
Answer: Although my intentions are very clear for providing any type of effects to the
external issues, I have a great interest in technology regarding the advancement in the fields
of games, news of soccer events (Anderson & Jiang, 2018). My motive is to express my
ideologies regarding my favourite club as well as to provide a clear view of my thinking as
well as interests.

11. What changes do you want to make (or have you made) to your social media use?
Why?

Answer: It is been a while where the update was provided to the social media systems. The
last feature that was updated were “Stories” in the platforms like Facebook, Whatsapp as well
as Instagram. I haven’t used this feature till now and hence I am curious to use this feature as
soon as possible.

12. Have you results changed at all since the beginning of term?
Answer: My results were static and it did not changed.
13. Do you feel that you answered differently this time as a result of what you have
learned in this course, why or why not?
Answer: I tried my best to provide the answers to the survey questions; however, the results
are same. I suppose this is due to the survey and the scores that I provide did not effect on
how the social media platform is used by me (Boulianne, 2015). This is because I am ensured
that I am using the platform in the same way as I did it before.
14. Do you think you have changed as an individual as a result of taking this course?
Answer: I was not able to come up with any alike observations while answering the survey as
well as the follow up questions.
