2. Reflect on who you are based on the results, do you agree or not?
As per the answers provided in the survey, it reflects that the scores provided deals
equivalently in both the fields of emotional connections as well as in the integrations of the
social media.
The most preferable way in which I like to communicate with other persons via social
media about some special topics (Norman, 2017). I show my interest on the special or
specific topics for communication with other persons. Hence accordingly I provided the
scores for the survey as provided below.

3. What social media platforms do you use?
Answer: The social media platforms, which are used by me, are likely to be Facebook,
Instagram, YouTube, Whatsapp as well as LinkedIn (Connolly et al., 2016).
4. For what purpose do you use each platform? If you don’t use any, why?
Answer: There are certain purposes regarding the usage of each of the social media
platforms. These are described as follows:
Facebook: This platform facilitates me to create profiles, upload videos as well as photos,
and communicate with the other persons with the help of messages. I use this platform to
keep in touch with my family, friends as well as colleagues.
Whatsapp: This platform facilitates me for communicating with my friends as well as my
family. This platform has an enhanced feature that is “Groups”. This helps me to
communicate with many people simultaneously.
Instagram: This social media platform is used by me for accessing photos, videos of my
known friends as well as news from other sources too (Bucher & Helmond, 2017). This is a
very nice platform according to me as this has limitations to the genres of photos and videos I
actually like and want to share with my other friends.
YouTube: This social media platform is used by me to gain information with the help of
informative videos as well as entertainment videos. This platform also enhances me with
videos of news as well as knowledge videos that are present in the website. These videos can
be shared with my friends as well.

LinkedIn: This is a social media platform that I access the most as this platform helps me to
gain information about jobs as well as to communicate with friends regarding the knowledge
of my carrier.
Week 7
5. How would you characterize the quality and content of your social media use? To
answer this question, you may want to try referring to some of your posts/shares/etc.
Answer: According to me, social media is a vast source of effective information as well as of
entertainment information. These platforms has many knowledgeable resources, which are
used to enhance my contents of information (Attrill, 2015). However, I selectively choose my
areas of interest and gain the knowledge of that resource via the groups, pages as well as
channels present in the overall social media.
6. What kinds of things do you share?
Answer: The contents of the social media that I mostly share includes the videos, blogs,
articles as well as informative reviews that are related to computer technologies, software
technology trends, sports as well as current affairs.
7. How often and with whom?
Answer: According to my visit in the social media interfaces I share, the above stated
information only if it is useful to my friends and I decide to share the information related to
my friend’s specific domains (DeNardis & Hackl, 2015). Moreover, I regularly share the
information of news and technologies to my friends group as well as to my family.
8. Why do you feel you need to share certain information?
Answer: I prefer to share these contents based on the quality of information that they
provide. The information on the news is mostly preferred by me to share the information to

my connected people on the social media platforms. The important reason is that the data
posted are informative as well as these can be used to wish people for any kind of occasions
as well as festivals.

9. How does your social media use relate to how you view yourself?
Answer: I use the social media profiles to provide my views in respect to my specific fields
of interest. I use to express my personal views on the fields of sports events, games,
technologies as well as stand up comedies.
10. What aspects do you think have contributed to your identity and sense of self, and
why?
Answer: My intentions to share information regarding my fields of interest are very clear for
providing any effect on the views. I provide a great interest in the fields of games, news
regarding soccer events and political news. My motive is clear for expressing my own
thinking regarding any topic.

11. What changes do you want to make (or have you made) to your social media use?
Why?
Answer: The updates regarding the update with the social media systems are not provided
since a very long time. The last known feature that was updated in the social media platforms
that I use were the “Stories”. I am looking forward for the use of this feature in near times.

12. Have you results changed at all since the beginning of term?
Answer: My results never changed since from the beginning of the term.
13. Do you feel that you answered differently this time as a result of what you have
learned in this course, why or why not?
Answer: I tried my level best to come up with the answers to the provided survey questions;
however, the outcomes remained the same (Batrinca & Treleaven, 2015). This is due to the
fact that I never changed the way of using the social media platform and is still continuing to
do so.
14. Do you think you have changed as an individual as a result of taking this course?
Answer: I do not think that any change occurred to me after taking this course as the answers
were totally relevant to my usage of the social media platforms.
