The report gives an overview of the data breach of Australian Red Cross Blood Service that risked the data of over 550000 prospective blood donors. It was found out that the main reason of the data breach was the one-off human error from the part of a precedent employee. The data breach concerned the private and confidential information of the blood donors and exposed the same to the threats and vulnerabilities of malicious spam, unauthorized data access and illegal use of the personal information of the blood donors.
