This literature review discusses the methodology used for the investigation, which is quantitative analysis. The hypotheses tested include the association between board gender diversity and GHG emissions, the relation between NED and GHG emissions, and the effect of different variables like CSR, ROA, board diversity, non-executive directors and market capitalisation on GHG emissions. The results show that there is no significant association between board gender diversity and GHG emissions, and no significant impact created over GHG emissions by changes in other variables. The study used SPSS tool for data analysis.
