Purpose-
Considering the identification of the most common health disease this post has primarily
intended to approach an advance solution to improve the diagnosis of lung cancer by utilizing the
features of data science. Since, diagnosis of lung cancers are one of common disease that causes
death it is very essential to detect the disease faster hence, the main purpose of this post is to
discuss about how data science could help to enhance thee detection process (Medium 2020).
Reason behind the selection of this post-
This post has been selected with the purpose to discuss one of the most trending topics in
medical field. Along with this identification it is observed that data science is also one of
emerging concept that holds significant impact on our daily life. While analyzing both of these
concerns it is observed that this post has effectively discussed about the application of data
science in the field of medical science for enhancing lung cancer detection process.
Identification of the data science problem-
While analyzing this aspect it is identified that lung cancer is one of the primary reason of
death across the world and breast cancer is second most dangerous disease that needs advance
care and faster detection. This study has effectively addressed all of the possible aspect of this
area which includes the discussion on the procedure of nodule detection. Lung segmentation,
false positive reduction as well as malignancy prediction. As primary objective of this study is to
effectively analyze the impact of data science on cancer detection it is observed that in this study
the researcher has effectively discussed about how the application of data science may
effectively address the challenges of cancer detection process with CT scan (Medium 2020).
