The woodcraft database stores its customer details along with their involvement with the
woodcraft company. In a business organisation, customer and their purchases have direct impact
on the sales of the company (Pearson, 2016). First, the query and the column field that would be
better to analyse, are the customer’s income, their quantity of orders and their address. Also, the
number of orders is much more than others whose income is more than $50000. It is shown in
the Figure 1 that what columns can be selected and how. If the company observes the regular
customer’s purchases on daily basis and the product are ready on time before getting any order
placed then the time consumption for the manufacturing can be reduced along with the
customer’s personal time. Also, the preferred column clearly specifies the customer’s name in
the table. This will increase the customer satisfaction level towards the company (Hill &
Alexander, 2017). On another hand, the tables that could help will be the order records for
keeping the company related records apart from the customer’s personal detail so that the table
only focuses on the one body at a time. Second, the addresses of the customer play the vital role
here. The number of customers who are having their address in same city can be picked. This
query will have customer’s address, city and their name along with the id. Hence the company
can allocate and plan the delivery schedule according to the customer’s location. Figure 2 shows
the selection of customer and their city.
