INTRODUCTION
The implementation of database is considered as the phase in which a proper
database management system is being installed on a specific hardware. Also, it
helps in optimising the database so that it can perform well on the software as well
as hardware platform. Thus, a database is created and thus loads all the information
and data. The poster is about discussing all the tools and techniques that are being
used for supporting the development of the database.
Tools and techniques used for supporting database development
Although there are various tools that are being used for providing support to the
development of database and also in its implementation such as draw.io, Ms access,
SQL lite, My SQL work bench, start UMLs etc., but discussing a few of them as under
:
Star UML
Star UML is considered as a very well known and popular tool that has been developed
by the MKLab and after various failures have proved to be successful enough for an
efficient implementation of the database.
It is specially known for supporting various types of diagrams that are specified in
UML 2.0.
The first version of Star UML was written in Delphi, which became one of the reason
that it didn't work well but a new version has been created as Star UML2.
Also, it has been observed that this new version is compiled of various new features
like as there are extensions present in the database, so it can help in providing support
to such extensions.
Also, it has been compiled of the new and completely updated graphical user interface
that can help in providing an efficient and appropriate implementation of the database.
The new feature is also compatible enough with the OS X so it can act as a very
beneficial feature. Star UML is considered as one of the efficient tools because it helps
in a better ERD generation.
Also, from the extension registry, the ERD generation extension can be downloaded
because it provides a sort of support in the generation of the entity relationship data
model from the available schema of the database.
So, this can be considered as an appropriate option for supporting the development of
the database.
Along with these features, this tool is compatible enough with a variety of features
such as it acts supportive enough for almost 11 types of UML diagrams.
There are various types of UML diagrams such as class diagrams, profile diagram, use
cases, state charts, composite structures etc. and star UML2 is compatible with all these
types, so it can provide a better implementation and as a support as well for an
appropriate development of the database.
Microsoft Access
Microsoft access can be considered as an efficient database
management system in which the Microsoft jet database
engine that is relational is being merged with the graphical
user interface and various other tools that are associated
with the development of software.
One of a special feature of using Ms access is that it can get
easily linked with all the other information and data stored
in different databases and applications as well. Also, it can
bring in the data very easily.
It is usually classified as a type of relational database
management system. Although it is known for using its self
storage information of the database, it comprises various
other factors as well.
There are various products such as SQL Server that act as
the back end for the tables. Also, like this, Sybase and
Oracle acts the same but Microsoft access acts as the front
end of the programs and tables.
Thus, it can be considered as an efficient option for a
successful implementation and development of the database.
There are some applications as well that are being used by
the Microsoft access such as ASP.NET, visual studio etc.
The tables that are being created in the access provides
support to various field types such as deferential integrity,
indices, for updating, deleting etc.
There is a query interface present as well that helps in
entering as well as displaying the information. The database
is usually referred to as multi handling user and also
manages an efficient record locking.

option for a successful development and implementation of

seems easy enough and also, various number of users can
act at the same time.
