Introduction
Torrens University is a private university in Australia. They deliver undergraduate
and postgraduate courses in Commerce, Public Health, Digital Media, Business
Administration, Education, Global Project Management, Higher degree, and design by
research. It is a part of Laureate International University with a campus in Sydney, Brisbane,
Adelaide, and Melbourne. They have diverse campuses across 4 major cities in Australia and
each of them is portraying their unique history and culture. It has become the first new
university for 20 years and 40th university in Australia (Caelli & Liu, 2018). According to the
study, the head of the department plays a significant role in the growth and development of
this university. The education industry is facing several issues associated like existing
environmental and global health issues, economics, health policy, and so on. As a Head of the
department of this university, it is my duty to discover the potential factors, which can
influence the health issues associated with the vocational facilities of Torrens University.
Problem Statement
It is stated that Torrens University is dealing with environmental health issues in most
of its operations in Australia. Several students have complained regarding the lack of
adequate sanitation and contaminated water, which are critical to enhancing environmental
issues. A series of developmental, behavioural, and environmental issue, which recur
throughout the combination of health concerns and problems for college students backed to
decreased quality of life for college students (Hoon, Gill, Pham, Gray & Beilby, 2017).
Methodology
In this situation, it is profitable to make use of secondary data as a method of
collecting information because it will deliver reliable information, which will save money,
cost and plays an important role in enhancing the present satiation, which is being faced by
the university. It will assist in concentrating on the problem rather than other issues in
providing educational courses. Secondary data will decrease the chances of duplication
possible in the research method. Additionally, secondary data collection will assist in
delivering a varied range of consultants to compare and obtain some new ideas for the
targeted issues. In comparison to primary data, it is very complex and offers inaccurate
feedback from the targeted respondents. In primary research, there is no control over the data

collection and incomplete questionnaire poses adverse feedback (Jepsen, Jørgensen, Fridlund
& Holton, 2017).
Data analytical tool
In this complex situation, I believe that content analysis method will be profitable due
to the reason that it will deliver potential opportunity to discover the issues, which are
influencing the overall education service of the university in respect of environmental factor.
The content analysis will be truly based on describing qualitative approaches to analysing
content. It is stated that the content analysis method will act as a significant tool at
recognizing the focus, communication, or intention of a university, individual, or group.
Content analysis method will help in offering cultural/historical insight with the help of
analysis of texts. It can be utilized to understand texts for purposes such as the advancement
of the expert framework. Additionally, the content analysis method will deliver the advantage
of conceptual analysis, which can be associated with health and environmental issues. It
depicts closeness to text, which can alternate among specific aspects and statistically identify
the codes. It also delivers insight into complicated models of interaction and human thought.
It is one of the best available techniques in order to discover the associated data (Khosravi,
Azman, Khosravi & Khosravi, 2018).
Decision-making method
It is stated that decision-making process is been utilized for conducting an effective
operation in Torrens University, which is very important to make productive use of all the
seven-step process in the context of the decision making process. It is quite evident from the
research that utilizing the decision-making process can assist in making a more thoughtful
and deliberate decision by maintaining alternative and relevant information. These steps will
help in determining the best approach, which can be implied in this condition to generate
sustainability and cleanliness in the university so that these health issues can be resolved.
