business objectives and targets within stipulated period of time. To make their business
operations successful in future need to plan their daily operations in continuous basis. Research
plays an important role in collection of important information regarding different aspects which
indirectly enhance decision making power of management. NPV and IRR such financial tools
which helps in selection of most profitable project. Food for Friends is a restaurant which
provides their services in UK. The main aim of restaurant is to open another branch in London
(Groebner and et. al., 2011).
In the present report explain about, use of primary and secondary method of data
collection in creation of plan, survey methodologies and sample framing, designing of
questionnaire to address business problems, interpretation of data by use of mean, median and
mode and draw important conclusions by use of different methods of dispersion. Also, use of
information processing and financial tools to enhance decision-making.

1.1 Creation of plan
Food for Friends is restaurant which provides different kinds of foods in London. This
restaurant is specialised in providence of snacks, seafood and cheese. Due to having successful
business operations, management wants to open new branch in London. To check the viability of
their move they want to know the views and feedbacks customers. For this purpose, management
of Food for friend decided to carry out research by the use of primary and secondary methods of
data collection to enhance their decision making power.

conduct research to know about the viability of their move regarding opening of another branch
in London. The main objective of this research is ascertain the views of respondents regarding
current services, factors which are present in business environment, customers demand and their
suggestions which helps the restaurant to make their services more better. This provides large
number of advantages to Food for Friend restaurant like competitive advantage, large market
share, improved profitability, large number of sales, attraction more customers etc. To conduct
research there are two methods are available which are used to collect information which are
called primary and secondary methods of data collection. But researcher select only primary
source of data collection which helps in collection of more relevant and true information. To
understand the views of respondents Questionnaire is prepared which consists 10 different
multiple answered questions from which only one answer is select by respondent. To select
respondents from total population random sampling method is used. By use of this method 50
respondents are selected from total populations. The overall impact of all research activities is
to enhance the decision making power and provides the chance to effectively grab the
opportunities which are available in future.
Recommendation
It is recommended that prepare effective strategies and plans which helps to carry
out their activities smoothly. To draw effective results need to appoint expert which uses
different method of dispersion which provide more accurate results.

The main use of information processing tools is to improve their communication and
coordination among the different departments of Food for Friends restaurant. It includes three
methods which are DSS, TPS and MIS. All these three different methods are define below:

of restaurant in systematic manner which helps in achievement of tasks effectively. It is
effective method regarding handing the activities of different departments.

planning to production level effectively. It brings effective coordination among staff

4.2 Analysis of critical path
Critical path: It is important method which provides more emphasis on longest route of
project which takes large time in completion process. It provides the opportunity regarding
completion of the project on time. If there is delay in completion of longest path of project then
whole project is delayed as a result.
Path A: 1+4+7+8 = 10Days
Path B: 1+2+5+6+8 = 15 Days
Path C: 1+2+3+7+8 = 17 Days
As per this method, longest path of the project is selected so, they can effectively
complete their project within stipulated period of time. Path C is longest path which takes 17
days to complete (Yu, 2013).
