DECISION MAKING

REFLECTION
I think decision-making is a process which helps in the identification of decision with the
help of gathering information and consideration of alternative resolution (Glatzer and et.al.,
2020). From my learnings it has been evaluated by me that step-by-step decision-making is the
most effective way of making decisions. I have understood that the decision-making for a leader
consists of different steps. Firstly the leader identifies the problem for which the decision has to
be made. Secondly the leader will analyse the factors which needed to be taken under
consideration before making a decision. In the third step the decision maker needs to consider the
which features the decision will affect. The fourth step for the decision maker needs to have
alternatives for the problem in case the decision fails (Haghani and et.al., 2019). My reaction to
these steps were very positive as I do think that this is the correct way of making decisions. I
have learned that for being successful in making decisions it is very important for the decision
maker to consider the factors which can get affected from the decision. My next steps while
making my own decision will to take in consideration all the possible out comes of the decisions
made by me. This will allow me to safe and not make any bad decision which can affect
important criteria in my life.
