Introduction The major aim of this report is to for me to demonstrate the ability to select and evaluate the usefulness of a range of decision making tools and reflect on my decision- decision making styles and contrast with other styles to determine the respective levels of rationality and intuition utilized. This objective will be achieved by conducting a number of activities. The activities involved in this exercise include identifying my own decision preferences, keeping a decision diary and identifying my own type and shadow side. These activities have been done and discussed in details in the subsequent sections. In a nutshell, the results demonstrates that intuition has an average score of D which is a high score. The analysis further demonstrates that I generally trust I hunches in your problem analysis and making. The average logic score is E, which is a high score. This result demonstrate that on most occasions I tend to prefer using my logical thinking when analyzing problems and making decisions. Similarly, my average score in balance is E, which is a high score. This is an indication that I tend to have a strong interest in the implications my decisions have on others(Stuart A., 2009). Similarly, based on mind and how we interact with our environment, I am rated as extraverted, intuitive, observant, using feeling making decisions, judgmental and assertive. These are very important trains in the decision making process at personal level or corporate level(Doda, et al., 2014). Body Analysis of own decision preference This sections outlines the results of the various decision preferences as well as exploringopportunitiesforchangeandimprovements.Thethreedecisionpreferences considered in this scenario are intuition, logic and balance(Lind, 2008). The score on these preferences have been graded as either low, medium or high. These three components are
considered to be very crucial in personal decision- making as well as acting as aid to securing an employment(Indina & Morosanova, 2009).The results obtained are contained in the appendices section. The results demonstrates that intuition has an average score of D which is a high score. The analysis further demonstrates that I generally trust I hunches in your problem analysis and making. Allthethreelevelsofpreferencesareevidentlyhigh.Theareathatrequires improvement is the balance preference. I believe this area needs improvement because having a strong interest in the implications my decisions have on others could at times slow the decision making process(Pavlova & Kornilova, 2013). Reflection on Decision Styles This sections outlines an in-depth analysis of the decisions made as peer the diary found in the appendices. Personally, I prefer working on decisions that look right over those that feel right. I prefer my gut feelings when making decisions. My decision of whether to be rational or not while making decisions is not encouraged in any way by others’ feelings. However, I really prefer being objective in justifying my decisions. My emotions do not really count when dealing with problems. Based on the decisions, I believe they fit well with the tasks and the environments they are made in. Feedback on Decision Styles This section outlines the feedback of the decisions styles. The feedback has been categorized into mind, energy, nature, Tactics and identity. Based on mind and how we

interact with our environment, I am rated as extraverted, intuitive, observant, using feeling making decisions, judgmental and assertive. These are very important trains in the decision making process at personal level or corporate level(Doda, et al., 2014). Self- Development Strategies and Discussions I have identified two shadow sides that needs improvement. Areas of surprise are the identity and nature. According to nature, a trait that influences how we make decision, I make decisions based on feelings. I believe this is an area that really needs improvement. Similarly, based on identity, a trait that underpins all others showing how confident we are our abilities and decision, assertiveness has a higher score of 83%. However, I feel that this is a very important aspect that needs improvement. Assertiveness should be at least 90% for proper decision making(Anon., 2013). Conclusion This report has helped in bringing out real decision preferences thought inductive and deductive studies. The most captivating thing about this exercise and the various outcomes is that I am quite intuitive and assertive. Similarly, I now understand that I make decisions based on my feelings rather than the final outcome. This implies that my decision making may be influenced by nature and emotions(Sarah, 2011). On average, I am balanced in decision making. The mostinteresting thing I have leant about my decision preference is that my decision making process can easily be influenced by those surrounding me and more importantly, I am an extrovert(Frankfort-Nachias, 2015). Recommendations I can make a few recommendations based on the outcome of this exercise. I will try to be more considerate on the nature to avoid making decisions based on the feelings. I will try to evaluate and possible figure out the decisions I make before I actually execute them.
