Flowchart depicting planning for a party:
The following flowchart depicts the process for planning for a party:
The planning for the party needs some basic decisions to be taken by the host. Before the start
of the planning it is important to identify the event for which the party will be organized. The
planning has to be prudent depending on the main requirements of the host and the occasion.

If the party is for birthday party then the person whose birthday will be celebrated has to be
known. If the birthday person is a child then the use of the colours and decoration will be
more attractive and colourful to attract the children and the birthday child. The use of the
decorations and the colours of the balloons being the basic requirement for the birthday
parties can be chosen from the favourite colours of the birthday person. The number of
invitees has to be decided. If there will be many people to be invited then the arrangement for
food and accommodation will be different than a cosy small birthday party. If the number of
invitees is less then homemade cake can be cost effective and better option. If many people
are invited then large cake will have to be arranged to be served to many people.
If the party is for wedding then the planning will be changed depending on the budget of the
host. The cost involved in the wedding parties is higher than that of the birthday parties.
There can be planning for other parties like family gathering, casual friends gathering or even
for a pizza party. There can be office parties, parties on the event of Christmas and New Year
evening. The planning depends on the event and the budget. The planning is the main aspect
that ensures the ultimate success of the parties (Rouse, 2017).
