The concept of personal and professional development revolves around the factors and

The short term goals are those which are attainable in few days or months and they are
the building blocks to the larger and longer term goals. These aims are also addressed as
milestones in the journey for reaching the better and more time consuming objective by the

individuals have as their short period criteria to achieve are as follows: Communication Skills Work Life Balance
Interpersonal Skills

The medium term goals also adds value to the longer period objectives of an individual or

excellence but are helpful for individuals to develop their future plans and career opportunities.
Some of the examples are as presented: Decision Making Skills Problem Solving Skills

to accomplish in their life and their career path. The long term goals are established with the help

source.
The sources and work of others are used with the motive of developing new and better
judgement and learning more. These resources stays useful and effective depending upon four
factors that are Author, Purpose, Reliability and Relevance (Rasipuram and Jayagopi, 2020). The
“Author” name represents the success, knowledge and expertise of the person writing the source
for for people use. The “Purpose” of the report or the resource used addresses the relatability of
the work with the judgements and conclusions made by the user. The “Reliability” factor make
the work authentic and the “Relevance” element enable the user of the source to be thoroughly
sure about the usage of the work presented (Fontaine, 2018).
