This presentation discusses design thinking as a method to solve issues through creative and innovative ways. It promotes coherent and divergent thinking and uses a divergent thinking process. The advantages include the use of divergent thinking and development of coherent thinking and analytical work process. However, the disadvantages include increased complexity of the process and low outcome due to the issue of adaptability. The presentation also covers activities involved in divergent thinking and mindset in innovation, such as emphasizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing processes. The focus is on identifying innovative and creative solutions and lowering down the complex process issue. User, need, and insight are the base of developing the divergent design thinking, and the presentation also covers the understanding, exploring, and material process.
