Week 1:
First week was an exciting experience where I met new friends that were from around the globe.
The lecturer introduces all of us with the routine of rest of the classes that we were going to
attend. First class was an introductory class in which all the students were told about:
WHAT IS DESIGN?
WHICH TYPE OF THINKING USED TO MAKE ANYTHING BETTER?
WHAT IS THE BASIC METHODOLOGY BEHIND BRAINSTORMING?
First lecture introduces me with the questions stated above along with their answers and I get to
know about I am going to learn.
Week 3:
Design Theory workshop
In this lecture all students were introduced with the theories and models of underpinning DT that
include the following objectives:
Divergent and convergent thinking
Logic of reasoning
Action Research
Triple Loop Learning
Creative Learning Spiral
Philosophical Worldview
Co-creation/co-design

Including above we have also learnt about the reflection and why it is needed along with how it
could be achieved in correct way. Thereafter we get to know about the blogging, related rationale
and application.
It was a great experience while attending the class and we were well learned with the process of
reflection and blogging and get to know how to write them and post them.
Week 4:
Design Problems
Before starting the class it was necessary to sign up for a blog and start blogging for each student
individually and thereafter the lecturer introduces that this will be a group assessment class in
which we had to choose our group. The outline of the workshop was to learn following
objectives:
Creativity and ideation exercises for assessment 2
Problem solving v/s problem finding
Brainstorming and visualization as a Design Thinking tool
Visualisation as a Design Thinking tool
Problem finding through spotting the obvious
After the class I get to understand the specific difference between the problem solving and
problem finding. How to critically discuss the role of design thinking and about the tools that are
mentioned above?

Week 5:
Design Research 1
This class was all about the overview of the journey mapping including the involved activities,
value network and value chain including their activity and overview, mind mapping, research
and assessment 2 in briefings.
After attending this class I was able to understand and carry the design thinking tools about the
tools stated above in thorough and better explainer through the video representation and
lecturer’s approach.
Week 6:
Design Research 2
This lecture was about the following:
Data sources
Research approaches
Ethics
Data types
Including the co-creation and designing an ethical research project.
Based on the studies we get to know about how to understand data types, data resources, and
research approaches. This lecture helped me to be able to conduct and plan ethical designed and I
became aware with the data analysis process and methods.

This lecture was about to teach us the following:

From the above activities I was able to understand how to plan, review and execute the learning
launch that has been learnt from the voices of the lecturer. I get to know about the approaches
and methods that could be the process of launching innovation within the personality of an
individual.

Design an Entrepreneurial Marketing Campaign
Following were the objectives that we were about to learn in this class and can be listed as:
Target markets and ‘personas’

Entrepreneurial marketing campaigns

Design as communication
Based on the lectures that I have heard from the lecturer and gain from the videos I am now
able to express about the overview of the marketing and I can use the personas in design
thinking and implement the project to the success. I am now capable of carrying out the
competitor analysis and can differentiate between the important and less important data and
can describe about the facts related to the entrepreneurial marketing and related other
objectives.
Week 10:
Design Entrepreneurial Fundraising Campaigns
This lecture was about the followings:
Sources of finance for entrepreneurial endeavours and innovations
Fundraising
Fundraising campaigns
Other resource requirements , long-term plan, recommendations and time frame

Workshopping your assessment 2
After the lecture I get to know about the sources related to the capital for entrepreneurial
innovations, basic approaches that could be implemented into the fundraising from business
angles, crowd-funding, and other grant providers and how they could help me improving the

funding that could be helpful in funding and other financial help. I was able to learn about the
fundraising campaign and how to lead them to the success.
Week 11:
Design the Designers (i.e. Design Yourself)
There were many objectives that we were about to learn in this week that can be listed as:
Distance: If you have chosen to present live to the unit co-ordinator this week, assessed
presentations will take place at the agreed time On-campus: In-class assessed presentations, and
Revision and reminder: Reflective Thinking and Writing
Based on these I get to learn about the facts that could bring reasonable changes in me and the
changes that should be brought in me for the enhancement and high performance of the
individual. This helped me in bringing the change according to the studies and icrease the
personal development of myself.
Week 12:
Design for the Future
Following were the objectives that we were about to learn in the class:
Wider applicability of Design Thinking
Design as aesthetics – in business and YOUR own life
Design for Growth
Continuous Design
Design Thinking in Established Organisations
Growth and Strategy

The classes were about to end and the professor comes with the topic design for the future that
