DESIGN THINKING
Introduction
The process of design thinking is mainly applied for extensively focussing on the lives of
people and provide them with improved products, processes or services. This report intends to apply
the design thinking process on the life of an individual and provide some methods of improving their
life. The life of MR. LÊ VĂN PHƯỢNG is analysed in assignment 1 and now the process of design
thinking would help in discovering the methods by which the life could be improved.
Brief background
The aspect of design thinking could be described as the human centred approach for
introducing innovation that draws from the toolkit of the designers for integrating the requirements of
people, possibilities of using technology as well as the requirements for the business success
(Andrews 2015). The significance of design is presently increasing significantly over the years. In the
present times, the consumers in the market have significantly quick access to global marketplaces
(Brown 2015). There is no distinguishing among the digital and the physical experiences by people.
The methodology of design thinking has been proven and repeatable issue solving protocol that any
profession or the business could employ in achieving any bigger results (Carlgren, Rauth and
Elmquist 2016). The design thinking mainly combines the critical and creative thinking that permits
the ideas and information to be significantly organised, the decisions that are required to be made, the
situations that are required to be improved and the knowledge that has to be obtained (Dalsgaard
2014). It is the mindset that is mainly focused on the solutions and not on the problem (Glen, Suciu
and Baughn 2014). It has been argued that the primary element of the aspect of design thinking is
primarily the thinking and ideating on any solution for addressing any problem or meet the
requirements of the customers in improved way (Howlett 2014). The establishment of proper amount
of time for the true thinking using work being done and then measuring the merit as the viable
solution for solving the requirements at hand is mainly missed at most times (Kolko 2015).
