CE 2.2 Project Background
CE 2.2.1 Characteristics of the project
The 3600 malleable drilling machine can be referred to as responsible to provide major
benefits to the users such as rotational flexibility, minimization of time, lowering costs, reducing
the total expenses of manufacturing as well as easy usages. This particular drilling machine
creates a specific circular hole in the job or element by effective volume removal within the
metal by drill bit cutting tool. This kind of tool is being used to drill holes of several sizes and of
any other associated and significant operations with the drill bit. During execution of the project,
I have successfully designed and contrived a 3600 drilling machine after considering distinct
specifications of motors. I have even considered a current range between 0.2 AMP until 1.2
AMP. Total speed that was to be considered was maximum of 4000 rpm. The respective power
range undertaken within the specific project was within 2.4watt until 15watt and hence voltage
was 12 V. I even wanted to create the project with extra effectiveness for putting the holes with

high and better precision over the cylindrical shells, block as well as engine head and also for the
purpose of furniture making. Hence, in the project, I had successfully proposed the most compact
design for my 3600 drilling machine after considering each and every technical specification.
CE 2.2.2 Objectives developed for the project
I have maintained few of the most significant and major standards during the execution of
this particular project and for the reason that this type of designing or working parameters were
being followed efficiently. Hence, for the purpose of completing this project and then providing
a perfect design for the 3600 drilling machines and then making it extremely effective and
efficient, I have eventually developed these objectives given below:
To suggest a detailed as well as compacted design for my 3600 drilling machines project.
To execute various operations such as spot facing, boring, grinding, lapping, tapping and
various others.
To properly understand the complete working process of drilling machine after using DC
motor over the full-wave rectifiers.
To identify and select several vital tools so that I can dismantle, assemble and then hold
the project item.
To be sure that high accuracy as well as efficiency is enhanced during drilling of metal or
other product.
To properly help the smaller as well as medium enterprise to reduce their operational
costs by providing them certain cost effective 3600 drilling machines.

CE 2.2.3 My area of work
Since this was second professional project, I was much experienced than my previous
project and hence I being recruited as the team member in this specific project. Moreover, I did
not face much complexities while completing the tasks. After providing a completed design for
the 3600 drilling machines project, I also have to help my respective fellow team members to
understand the subsequent requirements of project as well as the process or working principles of
drilling machines with significant details. As, I comprised of skills like logical reasoning, the
project supervisor kept confidence upon me to complete the works of project.
