helping management of the organization to identify the issues and thereby mitigate the same
through different strategies. Therefore, the management of the organization must take steps to
mitigate the issues for the proper functioning of the systems of the workforce. Negotiating with
the workforce based on the change that is planned by business helps in maintaining the
efficiency at work. On the other hand, reconsidering the remuneration systems of the business
helps in maintaining the different levels of improvements in the operations of the enterprise.
Interaction with the employees of the organization helps in maintaining the different levels of
change in the systems of the business and thereby develops strategies to fit into the requirements
of the business.

employees will be helping the management of the organization to undertake the smooth

Question 1
Workplace diversity is considered to be one of the major aspects that any organisation is
liable to focus upon. It can be argued that workplace diversity can e played as an impetus to
enhance the brand image of the company. Therefore, it is also important for the JKL Industries to
maintain workplace diversity inside the organisational structure of the company. According to
the terms and regulation of the company it can be ascribed that the company has a policy of
following diverse work culture and respect religion is also intertwined with the policy of diverse
work culture into the organisation.
As a matter of fact, the national regulation on diversity the Law Council of Australia has
advocated that ensuring equality in workplace must be followed by the organisations and in this
regard the companies have to adopt practices to provide equal opportunities irrespective of class,
ethnicity, gender and religion. In fact, the Law Council of Australia opines that respect in terms
of treating every employees fairly and courteously as well as prevent freedom and harassment
must be ensured by the organisational management. With referred to the Australian Human
Rights Act, 1986 the Law Council is committed to promote diversity in the name of equality,
respect and inclusion in workplace or in legal profession. In order make diversity a practice, the
Law Council includes mutual learning, respect and recognition programs in the process
(Lawcouncil.asn.au 2018).
Therefore, in the JKL Industries it will be helpful if the management starts some
programs regarding diversity. At first, it is the responsibility of the management to let the
employees about the diversity policies of the organisation. In this regard, during the recruitment
process the newly recruited employees are being informed about the practice of diversity inside

the company and for the old employees there should be a session on diversity. It can be argued
that to formulate the essence of workplace diversity, the JKL Industries can organise some
events with the participation of all employees. Moreover, using quotes of workplace equality in
the office can be another measure that will render a visual impression of diversity. In this
context, as a leader and the operation manager of JKL Industries it is my duty and responsibility
to continue workplace diversity in my team. For this, I shall communicate with my team
members in a daily basis and assure them all my assistance related to the job and the workplace
culture. Besides this, a direct connection with the higher authority and the HR management can
also be a firm step to establish diversity in workplace. My positive attitude towards the team and
categorise the team members on the basis of their skill rather than religion will be a good
initiative as far as I am concerned.
Question 2
The organisational environment of the JKL Industries is fractured with lack of
understanding regarding the diversity of the teams. In this regard, there are some facets of the
organisation such as race and ethnicity and the religious aspects. Lack of understanding about
team work is an essential factor in this context. As a result of that in case of team work there will
be a great deal of problem among the team members that can facilitate poor quality of
production. As an operational head it is my responsibility to deliver quality production all the
time and the future of the company is depended upon me. Therefore, by no means this kind of
practices can be tolerated.
In this context, as the team leader I will conduct a meeting with my team members. The
meeting also includes the higher authority in course of let the employees informed about the
diversity policy of the company. As a matter of fact, threat of Zero Tolerance Policy is also

incorporated into the discussion so that the team members can aware of losing their jobs.
Moreover, there will be a meeting between the higher authority and the operational head in order
to make the policy of workplace diversity more prominent and important as well.
In addition to this, to prohibit any kind of violation regarding the workplace diversity I
shall develop an open communication style so that every employees are free to discuss any kind
of problem regarding the organisational environment and ventilate their grievances. It will
facilitate a flexible environment where the employees or the team members are free to do their
job. Listening is considered to be an important facet in this regards. That will develop a
motivation to the employees to ventilate their grievances. Besides this, attitude is also considered
to be an important aspect in this matter. A positive attitude will render positive outcome for
protecting diversity inside the JKL Industries.
Answer to Question 3
As the manager of Brisbane area I would try to build networks which can help in the
creation of positive relationships with the people who are internal and external to the
organization. The medium size of the organization thereby increases the need to effective
networking with the people within the company and with those who are present outside as well.
The effective planning of workforce is also made possible with the help of successful
communication networks. As a manager it is my duty to form a network of people so that the
positive relationships can be created in an effective manner (Conrad and Sollitto2017). The
communication networking based activities are important for the managers of the company to
achieve their organizational goals along with the others in the organization. The network with
internal people or employees can be created with the help of official social media groups that can
help them to share the views in an efficient manner. On the other hand, the company website can

be used for the purpose of establishing networks with the customers and the other stakeholders.
The website will be helpful for me to connect with the customers so that I am able to analyse
their needs and desires (Gu et al. 2014). This will be helpful for me as a manager to know the
customers of the organization in an effective manner so that I can take the decisions that can
prove to be beneficial for the organization. The communication levels that are created between
the managers and the employees is an important part of the entire organizational operations. The
proper communication can help the company to achieve the goals and objectives in an effective
manner. The online or social network is the most useful process of communicating with each
other within or outside the organization as well (Shockley-Zalabak2014).
A situation where I had joined a network to achieve the organizational goal is based on a
project that was provided to the company. The network that was formed was based on three
teams who were responsible for various departments of the organization. The different teams
have together been able to create a successful network that was developed for the purpose of
achieving the goals. The members of the team within the network had collaborated with each
other so to achieve the goals that has been set by the management. I had tried to build strong
networks with the members of the organization with the help of effective communication and
other major activities. The goals that were set by the management of the company were achieved
by the coordination of the individual members of the teams within the network. The networking
process had been helpful for me create positive and effective relationships with the employees
who were a part of the different teams. These positive relationships had been helpful for the
employees to coordinate with each other in the future (van Osch, Steinfield and Balogh2015).
The communication and networking based activities have thereby been helpful for the creation of
proper relationships among the employees in the network. The achievement of organizational

Inter -trust factor between the management of organizations and employees supports in
ensuring proper performance of the workforce as per the objectives of the business. The proper
functioning of the systems of the business helps in maintaining and enhancing the productivity of
the organization and thereby brings forth proper development in the situation of the firms. The
interactions with the employees help in maintaining the proper levels of change as per the
objectives of the business firms to progress. The strategies that might be taken by the managers
for facilitating the change in the systems of the business are based on the empowerment of the
employees and motivation of the same to support the free flow of the functions that are
considered by the organization while undertaking the change in the systems of the business.

Working environment of workforce greatly supports the proper functioning attributes of
the organization. One- to- one communication with employees of the organization will be
helping the management of the same to identify the issues that are faced by workforce and

issues relating to the fear of losing the job role and the importance of the different systems and
their implementation helps in identifying the different changes in the systems of the business as
per the needs of the same. Mitigation strategies like remuneration, awards and recognitions that
are implemented by the organization helps in maintaining the paradox of issues.
Different grievance policies that might be undertaken by the business will be dependent
on analysis of the issues that are faced by employees while conducting their respective job roles
as per the objectives of the business. The policies help in the identification and the mitigation of
the workforce related issues like diversity and the hierarchical atrocities, which helps in
maintaining the smooth functioning of a workforce as per the requirements of the organization to
operate more diversely in the markets. The strategies that might be implemented by the
organization for the identification of the root causes of the conflicts are helpful in mitigating the
issues. The different issues that might be faced by the organization while bringing forth changes
in the systems and operations are based on the identification of the different issues that might be
faced by the employees while performing their respective job roles. Negotiation with the
employees and undertaking one- to- one communication with the same helps the management of

I will be acting as the manager of the organization, which will be helping me to identify
the issues that might be affecting the proper functioning of the systems of the organization. On
the other hand, I will be undertaking one- on one communication with the employees to identify
the issues that might be faced by the employees while functioning as per their respective job
roles. It helps in the proper functioning of the systems of the business while operating in the
international markets. I will be taking steps to ensure the proper functioning of the systems of
the organization and thereby undertake sessions with the employees to mitigate the issues that
they might face. The sessions will be helping me to integrate the workforce from different
departments and thereby build on the inter- trust factors which will be helping the organization to
undertake the smooth functioning of the business.
