Executive Summary:-
Maintenance of environmental sustainability of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia will be
discussed in this report. This report includes enhancement of policies, principles, and procedures
for development the sustainability of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Improvement in
sustainability will help this company in achieving the objectives. Different analysis like SWOT

Introduction:-
Commonwealth bank Australia is a multi national bank of Australia. It is from banking industry
and it serves a variety of financial services like business banking, institutional banking, retail,
investment, insurance, etc across Asia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and United States. It
founded as government bank in 1911 and since 1991 commonwealth bank Australia is known as
a public company. Headquarters of commonwealth bank Australia are situated in Sydney,
Australia, and Darling Harbour. Total number of employees of commonwealth bank Australia is
51800 according to 2017 data collection (Sustainabilitymatters.net.au, 2019). In this assignment
the development of working policy and procedures for sustainability of Commonwealth Bank
Australia will be discussed below.
Development of sustainability policy for workplace:-
For maintenance of workplace and for further development of a company working policy and
maintain of sustainability is necessary. Therefore the current condition of the company should
analyzed. For betterment of company Commonwealth Bank of Australia should manage the
sustainability of environment and should also develop working policies for their company
(CommBank, 2019).
At first the commitment of management process should maintain for making policy of
sustainability of the workplace. Therefore Commonwealth Bank of Australia has to supervise all
the work procedure of their company on day to day basis.
The work management department of Commonwealth Bank of Australia should concentrate on
process of planning and how to develop the plan for sustainable policy of their company. They
has to established an isolated department for supervise which factors of work and business affect
the sustainability of environment, so that they could able to take proper action for developing the
policy which will help in maintain the sustainable development of environment and as well as
their bank. And that will also help in understanding the nature of work of the company
(CommBank, 2019).
