By analysing the three options available I decided to install rainwater harvesting tanks
because it will help in storing rain water. Also, the rain water can be conserved with through
it. The water will be supplied to toilets. However, in rain water tanks water can be used for
many other things as well. This is best option because here water wastage can be reduced to a
great extent. However, in both two-options water consumption will not be reduced at large
level. Besides it, replacing water taps is not solution for this. The dual flush system may not
work properly. It uses same quantity of water (Ali and et.al., 2017). If low flow taps are used
it might consume less water but if used all day the result will be same. Apart from it, in many
organisations’ rainwater tanks are used for various purposes. It has enabled in reducing water
use. Thus, for toilet use water will be sufficient.
In report of implementing rain water tank i will include many things. First of all rain
water harvesting system should be implemented that will enable in minimising water
wastage. Here, water can be conversed for long time and used in future. Alongside it, another
recommendation can be given is using sustainable sources of energy. Moreover, by executing

strategy of reusing and recycling water. This means water can be reused in other things. I can
suggest management should develop policy as well and apply it in other areas as well. It
means they can use solar system to generate electricity. So, in this way also sustainability can
be maintained. The leakage or taps must be repaired from time to time to reduce water waste.
Some policies relate to sustainability must be formed and implemented. It will benefit in
reducing water usage.
Question 7: Responsible for initiatives to improve the amount of paper, glass and plastic that
recycled by the enterprise.
a) the first action that i will take is to find out reasons that why this amount of waste is not be
recycled (Bass, 2007). Then, on basis of it I will develop strategies. However, I will find who
is responsible for collecting waste. Also, how much time it takes to recycle general waste and
what problems or issues occurred during it. Then, i will take develop a systematic plan on
basis of which waste has to be recycled. Furthermore, i will ensure that audit i been monthly
and report is prepared. Also, i will find out some alternatives that can be used in critical
situation. In addition, I will separate all three things and for each one different plan and
strategy is developed. By taking this action I will be able to achieve goals and objectives.
b) it is necessary to communicate actions that are to be taken so that goals and objectives are
attained. For this I will call a meeting and in that discuss plans and strategies that will be
taken in critical situations. Also, I will take feedbacks from managers who are engaged in
recycling waste to analyse results and measure it with standards. I will ensure that report is
developed each month so that accordingly action is taken. The plans are required as it will
help in giving insight of what is to be done and how.

reducing it, solar panels can be used for generating electricity. This will be useful in reducing
energy as well. Along with it, LED bulbs can be used instead of global lights. They saves
energy to a great extent. In this there is no huge expenditure is required. In addition, energy
monitoring systems can be implemented as well. It will support in taking reading of energy
and reducing its use. On basis of it excessive use of energy can be consumed.
