Introduction
I have learnt or developed so many skills so that it help me in my success. The learning styles
like the VARK in which there are four types that includes, visual learner in which student gain
knowledge with the help of graphic presentation or with the help of depiction of various
symbols, in auditory learner the students is just able to hear the information provides to them but
no visual is provided to them so it may become ineffective sometimes (Gandolfi. and Stone,
2018). Again, Kinesthetic learner in which the knowledge is given with physical role like with
the help of hand expressions. Last one is reading or writing styles, which I found is the most
effective one because this includes the information in the form of written presentation that
includes, the Power Point slides or creative handouts and provides the opportunities to be able
synthesize content of course as well. I able to developed this skills when I need to search relevant
information with different online sites. As all of this sites are not only attractive that help in
engaging myself more into that but also display lot of other useful information as well. Hence,
from that I found that my strong point is reading part and with that I able to gain more
knowledge (Al Khajeh, 2018) .
I know about the communication skills that is something interesting for me. I think
communication skills is essential part because it allow others to thoroughly understand all the
information more effectively or accurately. Good communication can lead to strong in
relationship as it encourages interest or interaction from other people. I think excellent
communication is useful for my career because it allows me to express my opinion clearly and I
able to ask questions if required, again I able to persuade others with friendly personality. I work
in team, easily discuss for any issues, give proper instructions, effectively done interaction with
other students. As a result of this, I able to develop so many skills like effectiveness in
teamwork, build good human relations as all of this skills are important in workplace. However,
I have a fear of stage speaking because of lack of confidence in facing lot of people together and
afraid of being judged.
Further, talking about the reading styles, there are different types of reading skills like scanning,
skimming, extensive or intensive (van Bergen,and et.al 2017). In intensive styles, a person is
reading shorter text in whole paragraph and find out about the detailed information with mainly
concentrate on main or accurate understanding. On the other hand, through extensive reading
skills, the reader is prefer to read whole paragraph either for overall understanding of the give

topic or else just for the pleasure. Through skimming, a person is reading rapidly to fully
understand the topic. Scanning is process of searching for the main information an reading
rapidly through the text in order to get the overall understanding. I have found scamming method
very effective and developed this skill as well. The reasons behind this that it save lot of time if I
have to do lot of work in less time (Kim,and et.al2017). It develop my accuracy and speed and
increase my concentration power as well.
Apart from this, skills of leadership is necessary for my career so that I able to make
performance at higher level and bring efficiency in my overall work. Hence, I don't have this
skill type of skill in my personality so its important that I have to work with some active or
brilliant leader so that I able to acquire some knowledge about various abilities that a leader
should have in them. There are some weaknesses as well that I need to highlight including the
lack of flexibility that I shown while working for a longer period of time. Its important that I
need to learn how to become flexible in the workplace as its kills productivity and lowering the
efficiency in work. Lack of concentration power that I have found and it effect my work so its
important to learn it by reading useful or interesting books, go through some novel and try to
engage more in the lectures so that it will improve my concentration level an did not effect my
work.
The other important skills that I think its important for me to gain. The decision making skills or
problem-solving skills is vital in life to learn so that it help me to find most appropriate solutions,
to find out the problem and quickly make the decisions so that I took correction action in order
to address them. The creativity skills or critical thinking abilities are required to have so that I
able to think in different or unusual way as compare to others in regards with problems, for
finding new methods of solutions, or able to build up new ideas along with the ability to
accuracy access the information an try to understand its relevance. The skills of empathy is
important to have as it important to feel for other people as well. This skill is necessary in
practical life to follow that may bring positive impact on professional life. Lastly, self-control is
essential to learn and this skill is describe to stand- up for ourself and for other people as well,
and should learn to remain calm in any considerable or provocative situation. The biggest hurdle
that I should face in university is regarding the problem-solving issues in which I found it
difficult to actually find the curate solutions for any of issue that might occur in future. I have

done so many work as a volunteer so I think that also help me in my professional life later
because it develop me team-work skills.
To conclude, the above report elaborate about the different skills that is required for my career
path. The communications skills ,leadership styles and what is the best one to follow, again the
reading styles is discuss in detail. Lastly, the weakness, other skills that I should learn in order to
improve my productivity level.
