TASK 1: Time management
A) Demonstrating time management skills.

B.) Reflection on managing the time.
From the above time table I have been able to manage my time in proper way as all the
tasks are been completed on time. Further, through this time table I am able to maintain my work
life balance and also remain less stressful. Moreover, through applying the Eisenhower model I
am able to prioritize the most important tasks so that they could be completed in the systematic
manner than rest other tasks(Rimmer , 2019). For example : I am eager to complete all the work
that is related to my learning module and ready to sacrifice my extra time that is involved in
playing, going for walk, watching film etc. Also, through this I am able to concentrate on better
terms as there is nothing left for distraction. Further, my activities are classified under list of do,
defer, delegate and drop. In do all the activities that take only few minutes such as replying an
email, printing report etc. are done by me. In defer all those tasks that can be paused for later
accomplishment are grouped under this. For example : A new project idea, or request by my
Document Page
team member and much more. In delegate some tasks that could be performed by other
individuals in same manner are delegated by me. And last in delete all the unnecessary tasks
such as group calls, meetings etc. are kept on hold or rejected.
Further, my entire learning module could be explained through Gibbs reflective cycle that can
be explained through the following stages:
Description: I had applied for my learning course so that I would able to enhance my current
learning skills for the future growth. Also, for this I have various people and my friends to
suggest good course that is not online and would be beneficial for my learning. Based on the
suggestions I have applied at one place and lucky got placed.
Feeling: Initially during my first lecture I was very nervous as it was difficult for me to
understand and manage my time according to some things. Also, I feel that my team members
were feeling the same as they were too less confident about things that were happening very
quickly. Moreover, all the doubts were cleared by me through asking certain questions in detail
so that there is no confusion at later point of time.
Evaluation: From the overall experience it can be said that overall it was good experience as in
team we were able to produce good quality work within the specified time and thus during the
process we were motivated to work harder. However, the only thing that does not go according
to the set plan was that the there was difference in the individual results that were done by each
one of them and hence time consume was much more than the expected.
Analysis: Through my personal observation I have found that the things that go very well was
that each member in my learning sessions identified their certain strengths and weakness that
saved lot of time in dividing the tasks into the group (Munir , Quraishi and Shokat , 2020).
However, the things that didn't go as planned was group think. According to this people resist in
raising voices against certain dominant opinions about any person or individual. Hence, we were
confident enough that things will work out very well but in reality we faced lot of pressure in
delivering the work on specific deadline as there was lot of confusion and mismanagement
relating to certain points an combing the tasks of others.
Conclusion:
From my learning experience I have understood that effective planning and time-frame is
required to divide the tasks while working in certain tasks(Broadbent , 2017). Moreover, certain
strengths and weakness need to be identified very clearly so that task could be done easily.

Action plan: The best results could be achieved only when we have kept certain points into
consideration before making any kind of final decision. Also, initially all the decisions must be
made in group in confidently so that certain challenges in the future does not have be faced.
TASK 2: Resources and Reflection
A.) identifying the four key resources.
The four resources that I have been used for this study is Online search through which I
was able to search various key terms that are essential for getting an in depth overview on the
topics that are assigned by my assessor (Gill , 2018). Also, I was able to get idea on how certain
formats were made and how the total work was delivered through nay assignment. Further,
through online I was able to collect as much information as I required to complete certain tasks
on the specific deadline. The next useful resource was library that allowed me to get the idea
through various books of authors that have certain opinions on any of the topic in their views or
opinions (Balula , Vasconcelos and Moreira , 2019). Further, it is best and easy option for me as
I was able to get as many articles that were helpful for my learning. Next was the online videos
that are presented by some bests of the speakers relating to how things are carried out in certain
manner. Also, these videos were helpful in quick and easy learning and hence things were
remembered for longer time than the other sources. Last, resources that I referred was
presentations that helped me in understanding the details in logical and clear manner so that
better explanation can be given in the future (Dolce , Emanuel , Cisi and Ghislieri , 2020).
B.) Reflection on the academic skills.
From my learning module I was able to develop various skills that were previously very
weak and need further improvement. Certain skills such as writing, researching skills and much
more have been improved to the large extent (Gheorghe and et.al., 2018). Moreover, successful
development of my skills could be analysed through Gibbs model that is described as below:
Description: Earlier in my learning period I have addressed that my writings skills were very
weak as result of which I have to face certain problems such as rewrite my assignments to make
it in correct manner. Further, due to this lot of time was consumed and there was difficulty in
completion of the tasks assigned to me.
Feelings: In this learning I have also found out that I have lot of work to do and this was because
my research skills were not very good and thus I used to miss certain deadlines given by my
assessor during this period. Also, I was quite frustrated and have very little motivation left.
Document Page
However, in the end I was satisfied as with my continuous effort to hard work I have learnt new
things.
Evaluation : The experience of learning was good as my continuous dedication has allowed me
to developed in greater (way) than the previous. Also, I was able to produce quality work in the
end and also able to provide help to the other team members wherever they find some difficulty .
However on negative thing was certain assumptions such as referencing skills are good (enough)
than the rest others led me to problems in my work.
Analysis: I have seen that in my learning some things do not gone very well as I was wrong in
identifying my personal strengths such as summing-up skills. Further due to this, I was not able
to provide clear conclusions on certain group projects. Hence, from the overall situation I have
made sense that overconfidence sometimes may result in negative results and one must always
do enough research and ask questions before presenting any work in front of others(Rahmat and
et.al., 2020).
Conclusions: Thus, I have learnt that certain skills could be only improved when individual
efforts along with coordination with the team members is done in proper manner. Further, in my
next learning session I would research enough so that basic doubts are cleared properly.
Action plan: In my next learning session I would develop the researching skills so that I can
make sure that things could be done differently and well-mannered. Also, more skills could be
developed through variable sources so that future changes can be made properly. Further, more
of the teamwork skills would be developed so that different and diverse groups could be handled
in effective manner and better solutions could be find out on complex situations with proper time
management techniques and methods .
TASK 3- LITERATURE SEARCHING, NOTE TAKING AND
EVALUATING
A- Summarizing key points of topic using Cornell note tacking approach
Cornell method is one of those systems that utilized in order to summarize the highlight
points of study or report that allow reader to understand what has been covered under that and
which information they may utilize according to specific reason (Abu-Shady and Khokha,
2021). It may enable them to take, organize and review notes, especially during examination
period.

B- Summarizing key aspects using a Mind map note taking method
Mind mapping is the best and effective note taking approach that utilize by many students
to make their work easy during examination that may help to get high scores, without conducting
too much efforts that they may make (Yorulmaz and Uysal, 2021). This method may do not
highlight essential facts or info, but also reflect overall format of a topic and appropriate data of
individuals sections of it.
According to this approach may require storing longer explanation of content in the notes
section that are related to topic of a study. It is a form of visual diagram that may allow students
to organize notes in appropriate manner. In order to add new and useful information to long term
memory, learners may tend to process it, understand an connect with their current mental concept
and review that appropriate multiple times. Mind map note making technique may give them
power to prepare important notes that they may use during sessions just to take overview about
detailed topic information. It may encourage students to take fewer or more meaning full notes
that they may utilize to gain their benefits in varied manners. It may uses a number of mental
elements such as colours, icons, or two-dimensional structure that assist them to remember or
memorize their content without too much effort to remind.

TASK 4- PLAGIARISM AND REFERENCING
A- Explaining what is meant by academic integrity and plagiarism
It is quite important for a student or learner to take varied concepts into their
considerations such as plagiarism and academic integrity, which make their work presentable.
Plagiarism is defined as presenting someone else's idea and creativeness as own work, without
their approval that is not included in list of ethical practices, which is quite important for students
to conduct in effective and systematic manner (Plagiarism, 2021). It is also defined as practice of
copying others work, which is not a good one attempt as it may put negative impact on
individuals performance and image at place where other people's are existed. All unpublished &

published materials, whether they are printed, manuscript and electronic form encompasses
under this term. Plagiarism in the recent time consider as intentional action, that conduct by
varied persons, to accomplish specific task or project (Perkins, Gezgin and Roe, 2020). It is
important for learners to avoid being one of those students who are conducting plagiarism
activity that affect negatively upon their work and create barrier to achieve aims related to
academic career.
Academic integrity refer to expectations that key researchers, tutors, learners and all the
member of university community act with trust, respect, honesty and responsibility. It is
necessary for students to fulfil the expectations of teachers in term of not breaking or breaching
academic integrity. This term may include ongoing fostering of a challenging network tactics and
accountabilities across module. It may permit students and others stakeholders to obtain the
pleasure of building new idea, better understanding and creative performance while respecting as
well as acknowledging others work (Why is academic integrity so important, 2021). Avoiding
plagiarism is the best example of academic integrity that permit students to obtain high score
without facing key issues or challenges during process of taking higher education. Along with
that, they may take initiative to do not utilize unauthorized assistance or help in an exam, and
other forms of academic work, as it is not cover under category of ethical practices (Guerrero-
Dib, Portales and Heredia-Escorza, 2021). This term may drive students attention toward making
ethical actions and asking essential questions. They may attempt to be honest by following their
tutors expectations and guidelines for specific assignment. Students may have to avoid
plagiarism act and follow academic integrity that may help them to be a successful and better
student.
