INTRODUCTION
Academic skills and values are those set of capabilities which enables students and
learners to increase their learning and motivates them to stay updated and upgraded according to
the current market requirements and trends (Rabiner, Godwin and Dodge, 2016). Hence, these
are the skills which are wanted and developed by individuals in case of keeping up the market
and competition. Some of the examples of such skills are critical thinking, note taking and more.
The present report covers number of tasks that will be showcasing value and learning of an
individual in regards to academic skills and understandings. In the beginning a time table is made
and certain time management skills are explained. Moving along in the assessment reflective
diary is made and an annotated bibliography is presented, referring to some sources used in the
project. Moreover, reflection on the issues of Climate change is presented with the usage of
different resources that are presented online and through journals and books. At last, discussion
is conducted on academic integrity and a poster is made for the same.

Time management is a skill which falls under the umbrella of academic skills and
learning. There are number of techniques and processes which can be used by students and
learners to work in the manner to stay focused and complete work in time with the motive of
achieving all the objectives (Balula, Vasconcelos and Moreira, 2019). There are number of time
management approaches which were used and needed to complete this module assessment.
Those approaches which I have used are as follows:
Scheduling all activities- The first major skill which I required and used for staying on
track and managing my time according to all the activities I need to perform in a day is of
scheduling a routine. For the same a time table is developed in the section above in which
proper time for each goal is assigned.
Staying dedicated- The next technique which resulted pretty well for me is of being
dedicated to the goal and most importantly to the schedule made or the time table. I found
out that only scheduling and creating time table is not enough I need to be dedicated as
well to the work and activities assigned through it (Tamis-LeMonda and et. al., 2019).
TASK 2
A. Advice to future students studying this module.
The module of developing academic skills is an interesting and value-adding course work
helping individual learners and students to develop the required skills and abilities for meeting
the academic goals as well as support their future professional activities (Sala and Gobet, 2017).

The model of developing academic skills have helped me in embracing and giving different
qualities as well as capabilities which are essential for me today and tomorrow in order to fight
back all the competition that are available in the market as well as completing all the assigned
tasks given to me during the course work and in future in the best and the improved way
(Muratori and et. al., 2019). In accordance to my understanding all the students who have been
engaged in studying the module of developing academic skills are well addressed to the agenda
to be kept focus on that is to think about the goals and objectives and work in the best manner
possible to achieve them in a successful and appreciative way. There are several number of
resources and supportive material available that can be used by learners to learn and study better.
Some of the example of these resources are books and journals, classroom notes, tutorial guides,
lecture notes and many more. With the help of these resources the students engaged in the
module will be able to develop more critical understanding and knowledge through the module
(Kourakli and et. al., 2017). Despite of rate another suggestion that I will be providing to others
in regards to the module is to stay punctual and complete all their projects and assignments on
time successfully in order to gain the best use of their resources and time available to them along
with learning more time management abilities. All the different techniques and approaches learnt
while completing the course work will enable the learner to move further and closer to their
ultimate future objectives.
B. Reflective Learning Diary.
RECORD OF THE SESSION
DATE 18th DECEMBER
Tasks completed Formulation of time table
Reflection This was the first activity conducted by me in which I made the first
effort and constructed my time table for studying and completing
different activities on day to day basis. Here I made use of scheduling
technique of time management.
DATE 20th DECEMBER
Tasks completed Sourcing study material from various resources
Reflection Then with passage of time and learning through the module I assured
myself that I will be sourcing all the information which I will be using in
my learning. It assisted me in getting more detailed information and
tasks given to me during the course work and in future in the best and the improved way

In regards to number of opinion as provided by experts and professionals in the industry
and the field of climatology. Whereas in the opinion of experts it is identified that disruptive
climate change is being caused principally by those human activities and actions that are
currently dependable upon usage of energy e and burning of fossil fuels that are non renewable
like coal, gas and oil. These actions of human have resulted in increasing concentration of
greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which is going to affect the weather patterns and other
natural balances of Earth by increasing cli bringing irregularity and unpredictable patterns in

In view of Ryan. (2017), climate change is a issue which is increasing continuously as it
is affecting and influencing the balance of nature and environment in negatively. There are
numerous negative implications and impact imposed by the climate change taking place in the
world today including yield of agriculture, uncertain weather conditions, irregular patterns of
natural disasters like floods etc., Decreasing water level and many more (Moles and Wishart,
2016). All these different factors are resulting in various natural disasters that are taking place
over the Earth and imposing their negative influence over the life of humans and other living
creatures in the world which are important for the world to maintain the ecological balance.
Global warming is one of the biggest result and consequences which is being faced by
earth today due to unfavourable natural conditions and climate change taking place. Global
warming takes place due to increasing in the general that is today temperature of Earth which is
drinking higher negative influences over the natural balance and resources of the world. Extreme
weather conditions are being faced that is the cold and the hot seasons in different regions are
highly unbearable and changing the patterns according to which the entire world and living
