sort of skills which will help them in their overall development as an effective individual. In this

achieving the desired objective. also, time management will improve the decision making skills
of an individual by opting various techniques. It will reduce the stress level of the individual by
providing them ample amount of opportunities for learning. Career block can be build with
efficient use of time management techniques (Chong and Ye, 2020). Time management revolves
around the techniques which will enhance the perception of an individual by building effective
relationship with others. There are some of the time management techniques which are explained
below: Time Blocking: This technique is formed by the Elon Musk which explains that an
individual must block their time for important task. The individual must try to complete
that task in the allotted time period. This technique will help in improving their effective
planning, Setting SMART goals, prioritizing the important task and single tasking. after

adopting this technique an individual will be able to solve the issues related to missed
deadline, ineffective scheduling and many more. There are four stages of time blocking
technique namely; planning stage, blocking stage, action stage and revision stage. The
first step for an individual is to define their task and objective tom be achieved. after that,
individual must block their time for each activities on the basis of priorities. The
individual must perform most priority task when they are in most productive form. Then,
the individual must start doing their task according to the schedule and can take flexible
break for ensuring effectiveness in their performance (Coccia, 2020). The last step
includes the revision in which an individual have to analyse that if a task is taking longer
time then they can reschedule the plan for the day. Inbox zero: This approach explains the ways of managing the email box of an individual.
The main aim is to keep the email box empty or close to empty to manage the efficiency
level. This approach was developed by Merlin Mann who was expert in the field of
productivity. This technique will improve the level of distraction and stress management.
Also, this technique will solve the issue of ineffective scheduling and multitasking.
Firstly an individual must decide a day to analyse their inbox tasks. Then the individual
must prioritize the mails according to their importance and complexity. This is an
efficient technique to manage the email traffic. This technique focuses on allocation and
management of emails. But sometimes an individual can lost their important emails. Action Method: This techniques depicts that every project is an important task and they
should be given equal importance on the basis of their implementation. The projects
include networking, managing the complex deadlines and many more. this skill will
improve the SMART goals of the individual with the help of effective planning. This
technique solve the major issue of ineffective scheduling which is a base of task
performance (English, 2017). The action method involves the action steps, references and
the back burner items. This will enhance the efficiency and management skills of the
individual for the future growth prospects.
 The Eisenhower Matrix: This technique involves the labelling of tasks as important
/urgent / not important / not urgent. The name of this technique was after the name of
American President Eisenhower who have high productivity skills at the time of his
office. The labelling will help in managing the time schedule for the performance of

complex tasks. This technique will improve the attitude of saying No and ensure proper
delegation of tasks. It involves four quadrants namely; 1st includes the important and
urgent task, 2nd will involve the important task but not urget, 3rd quadrant will include
the tasks that are not important but are urgent and the last will involve the tasks that are
not important and urgent. these tasks can be eliminated from the list.
Hence, these are the different techniques an individual can opt to enhance the proficiency
level which will ultimately increase their productivity. also, this will improve the performance by
providing them break time in a regular interval which will boost up their energy for the task
performance (Fuhlendorf, Fynn and Twidwell, 2017).
