1DEVELOPING AND DESIGNING CUSTOMER PRINTER
Understanding the project to develop and design customer printer
The following study analyzes the story of directing and assembling of the product design.
This intends to create an innovative and new consumer printer. Here, the analysis is done on relevant
academic literature, drawing the decisions that are made while managing the project.
A critical discussion is done here on the project constraints. Further, how the restrictions
affecting the ultimate results are included in this analysis. Variously related literature are integrated
and reflections are drawn from the simulation. It is helpful to examine the techniques and tools used
in managing the project.
Critical discussion of various project constraints:
The constraints are meant to be shaping the project particularly. These constraints have been
limits. As the project starts, at the minimum, the obstacles are defined for various elements. This
requires the availability of the primary project members and performances of the central project
members. It also includes the budget limitations and procurement of internal process lead time. Then
there is the delivery time of the vendors and the issues with performances (Sirinterlikci et al., 2015).
Lastly, it is intended to deal with the accuracy of the sates of project schedules.
For the current project to design and develop consumer printer, as the resources are available,
the time of delivery is to be increased. This has also been raising the cost of the project due to other
resources as possible has been expensive that in planned. However, the team witnesses that the
quality of the delivery has been turned to be poor (Irwin, Pearce & Anzalone, 2015). Here more
resources have been needed and this is useful to raise the cost. However for extra supplies and
energy in fixing the faulty deliverable (Hu & Wu, 2017). However, the scope creep occurs in the
project, this results in a rising of resources, cost and time and potentially decreasing quality. Hence,

there is a rise in risk delivery. Here, the various project constraints of the present project are listed
below.
From the outcomes of the current project it is seen that from week 1 to week 15, the number of hours
worked by every individual increased from 39 to 44. Thus, the team morale has risen from 75% to
87%. As a result, the team stress has decreased from 90% to 50%. However, the hours spent in
meetings from 7.5 to 0.0. Further, there was no time spent on the prototypes.
Moreover, the hours spent in the activities has been varying on this day ranging from 31 to 47.
Moreover, the management target has been ranging from 3,392 to 40,700 dollars. On the first day,
initially, the number of tasks was 11. On the last day, the number of functions was 185. From day 1
to 15th day, the management target increased from 15 to 185. Next, the team has risen from 3 to 9
people with weekly costs rising from 2,550 dollars to 10,631 dollars. Besides, it is also seen that on
the first day, there were 185 unfinished tasks. However, on the last day, the number became 14. As
far as the number of meetings is concerned, the amount of coaching taken is 3 and at last, the
coaching was 1 and the standup and status have been 0.
Constraints Effects on the results of the outcome of the project
Results This is the effect and product of the present project. Here, for
instance, the new products have been costing no more than 40,700
dollars for the manufacturer.
Time frames As one generates particular outcomes. Here, for example, the project
has been estimated to be done in 17 weeks (Li et al., 2017).
Resources The availability, amount and type of resources in performing the task
of the project. It is helpful to involve the information, facilities, raw
