• Learning and development is an effective area on HRM in which leaders need to increase knowledge of employees and
make them productive.
• This presentation is going to discuss reasons of providing training and developing leadership program by Harvey’s
medical device LTD.
• It will discuss reasons of allocation cost and time for completion for each task as it makes able to manager in
completing all tasks in a timely and cost effective manner.

Overview of proposed leadership development program
• Before discussing about programme, it is important to discuss reason of developing leadership development program.
• In regard to Harvey’s medical device LTD, it can be said that it is manufacturer of medical devices and has produced number of qualitative
medical devices include: blood pressure, monitors, thermometers and blood glucose test kits.
• Covid-19 has affected this industry to the great extent and this was the industry that earned to the great extent. There was a great scope and due
to new entrants in this industry, this company was finding problems in increasing shares.
• Market share of this company was declined to the great extent. Along with this, there is slow down of development and awareness of
consumer needs and now company wants to close the time between product conception and market launch.

• They will be introduced with main topics that can make this company able in becoming
the market leader and regaining its position in the market.
• Main topics that will be discussed in this program include: leadership, agile working
and multicultural and ways of dealing with different cultures of people. Goals that this
company wants to accomplish by the end of development of leadership program

• After completing or developing program, it is important to measure success of program. Overall performance can be
measured by making use of effective measurement tools.
• As it is training and leadership development program that is being developed for making employees aware about importance
of leadership, agile working and multi culture.
• For this purpose, feedbacks will be taken from stakeholders and employees. They will be asked about areas of improving
leadership program. On the basis of their review and suggestions, overall effectiveness can be known.

• It has been summarised from the above presentation that leadership program plays a vital role and it can make
employees able in becoming productive. Having a specific time schedule and cost allocation is also important for
developing program in a successful manner.
