What is meant by the term ‘an inclusive learning and development culture? An inclusive learning is a kind of environment that provides a welcoming environment for all kinds of learners have equal rights of learning by fulfilling their basic learning needs and requirements(Gouthro, Taber and Brazil, 2018). The main goal of inclusive learning is to provide learning opportunity to everyone without any kind of inequality or discrimination. Whereas development culture is a kind of process of enabling all kinds of cultural activities for realization of desired future especially for a community or an organization which is culturally rich and vibrant. How might Hightown Housing develop an inclusive learning and development culture? Hightown Housing can become a inclusive learning organization by facilitating learning on the basis of unique abilities and proficiencies for their diverse range of people working for them by focusing upon their needs for working within their organization(Welford, ed., 2016). This will help Hightown Housing in increasing efficiency of their workers and they will be able to contribute more towards their goals. Whereas, Hightown Housing can develop a development culture within their organization by determining and understanding different kinds of employees working for them and understanding their cultural background. They can also focus upon understanding ways in which employees and management interact with each other, handle business operations. Key factors that are required to be considered when implementing inclusive learning and development culture within Hightown Housing are as follows: Development of an inclusive learning policy for employees or workers is one of the most important key factors which is required to be focused upon when implementing an inclusive learning(Everett and Oswald, 2018). This policy will help in articulating and supporting inclusive learning Provide proper training to all the employees for inclusive learning and development culture. 1
Positive values should be demonstrated by leaders or top management staff of Hightown Housing so that everyone feels welcomes and part of organization. This can be done by developing an inclusive learning and development culture vision. In order to implement development culture it is important for Hightown Housing to adopt a common language so that different languages do not become a barrier in development culture and employees can easily carry out conversation with each other.
