INTRODUCTIONDeveloping managers is very important aspect of every organisation to manage each andevery aspect of the company. It helps to increase productivity and profitability of the firm.Managers are performing different operations and jobs to manage the outcomes and trying tomake results in favour of the organisation (Hunt and Weintraub, 2016). In this report it studiedthat how managers are enhancing the skills and capabilities of the employees towards thebusiness objectives and goals(Sander and Caza, 2015). This study is based on the British airwayswhich is the leading company in airline industry after easy Jets in United Kingdom (Hancock,2017). The industry is giving effective contribution to managing quality in the travelling andtours. This report also include the study of Alton Tower is a resort which is located in England.And was established in 1860. now it was converted into the theme park which attract the moreand more travellers and it providing an excellent experience of stay food and travel. Further thisreport includes different management styles and Characteristic of leadership styles. And it alsoincludespersonal strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats at workplace. Further incontains the study of Managerial decision made to support achievement and agreed goals andmanagerial and personal skills will support to career development.TASK 1 1.1 Compare different management stylesEvery organization have different management styles which help them deal with everyproblems and situations. According to needs to complete the goals and objectives managers haveto adopt different management styles and approaches to meet the problems. Differentmanagement styles areAutocratic, Persuasive, Democratic, Chaotic, Consultative and Laissez-faire. To deal with the problem both the organization, British airways and Alton tower managersuse different management styles. Which makesan employee loyal towardsorganization. In this managersalways makes the policieswhich are helpfull for theemployees and implementsthem. In this managers caneasily take the idea and viewsof the employees and easilyimplement those ideas. Whichhelp to motivate employees.managers tells the employeesthat what they do what is theirwork and how to do that. Inautocratic style if theemployees fail to perform theirtask or their duty individualhave to bear consequences. Inthis workers are so muchdepending on the managers toperform their task. Inautocratic managers have fullcontrol over the business andtheir members to effectiveresults. This style is alsoknown as the Authoritarianmanagement styles (ThorntonIII and et.al., 2017). Thismanagement styles have clearsplans for the company thathave to follow and implement.This style is mainly focus onthe teams works and managershave to manage those teams.And proper guidance anddirection create positiveenvironment and assist thegrowth of employeesperformance (Martyn, 2018).2
