Travel and tourism sector is fastest growing sector which generates high income by satisfying
wants, desire,and needs of customers. In the development of the country as well as economy
travel and tourism play a very crucial role so it is the responsibilityof government to provide the
proper funding. Hospitability becomes most increasingly demanding sector as tourism need hotel
to stay. It is necessary for hospitability industry to give high attention toexpectation as well as
the requirement of customers to achieve high growth and success. In travel and
tourismorganisation manager control every function in a proper way. Without taking help of
management it is difficult for travel and tourism sector to generate high income and success in
the tough competitive business environment. In this assignment, various practices and principles
of managementbehaviourhave been discussed that help to manage all operations and functions.
Also has been analysed own management skill and potential as a prospective manager. To attain

British Airways and Easy Jet. To achieve desired outcomes various management styles are used
by theorganisation that assists to manage people as well as operations in a proper way. In travel
and tourism managementstyles play a very important role. With the help of management styles
organisation can easily manage different operational activities to achieve high growth and
success in the tough competitive marketplace. Both Easy Jet, as well as British Airways, is travel
companies which used managementstyle to satisfy wants, desire, expectation,and requirement of
customers (Hunt and Weintraub, 2016). It is necessary for travel and tourism organisation to give
high attention tothe manager as they assist to maintainlong-term sustainability and growth in the
marketplace. Tourism is a fastest growing sector which generates high income and growth by
providing high-qualityservices to customers. There are millions of people visit the UKto gain
experience and knowledge which contribute so much to the growth of the economy. In UK
BritishAirways and Easy Jet operate several operations and functionsto cover large market share.
Easy Jet
Easy Jet is Airline organisation in the United Kingdom that offers low-cost airline services to
customers to fulfill their requirements. This organization operates domestic as well as
international service in more than 820 routes. It is highly important for an organisation to use
mange entire functions and operations in a proper way to generate high profitability and growth.
Easy Jet uses pacesetting managements style to manage operations and overall workforce to
achieve set goals and objectives. With the help of this management style manager set standard
for every employee on the basis of that, they perform allocated task and activities (Crawford,
2014).
British Airways
This organisation use management style from the initial stage to ending stage for accomplishing
desired outcomes effectively. Management style assists to manage overall operations and

success it is necessary for British Airways to focus on management style according to which

in the organisation (Cozolino, 2014).

use leadership style to attain better result and high growth in the tough competitive marketplace.
Organisation uses leadership to encourage and motivate employees towards the set goals
andobjectives so that they give best efforts to attain them. With the help of leadership,the
organisation is able to deliver high-quality services to customers and serve a huge number of
people at the same time in a proper way. This will also assist to enhance the productivity of
employees that help travel and tourism organisationto attain desiredgoalsin an effective way
(Beamish, 2013). There are various leadership approach and style which is used by British
Airways and Easy Jet to encourage employees towards the work for accomplishinghigh growth
and success.
Easy Jet Use Transformational leadership style in the organisation which is discussed as
