INTRODUCTION For the success of the organization it is very essential that the company try to manage the effective relation within the company. The major reason pertaining to the fact is that company cannot operate without human being and if they are not having good relation then this will affect their working efficiency. The underlying cause behind it is that no person can work in isolation and if there will be conflict then this will affect the working of the company. Hence, this will result in decrease in operational efficiency of the employees and overall performance of the company. The present study is based on company Amazon which is an American multinational company technology based in Seattle Washington. The current company has a major focus on the e- commerce business along with cloud computing and AI and digital streaming. The current report will outline the importance of training and development and role of employee engagement within the company. Further the study will also outline the different motivation factors in order to develop employees for future better working. In the end the Personal Development Plan (PDP) will be created in order to identify the skills necessary to manage the company. PART 1 Evaluation of the importance of training and development within Amazon and ways in which it supports employee satisfaction Training and development is being defined as the educational activities that a company organizes in order to improve skill and knowledge of employees within the company. It is very essential for the company as there are many different changes taking place in the external environment and if these changes will not be acknowledged to the employees of the company then the employees will not be having latest knowledge (Bueno, RodrĂguez-Baltanás and Gallego, 2018). As a result of this efficiency and effectiveness of the employees will decrease and they will not be in condition of managing and working in proper and effective manner. Hence, it can be stated that training and development is very important within the company. Along with this, also there are many different changes that take place in external environment like legal, political, technological and many others and if these changes affect the company then this need to be implemented within the company. Thus, for this the only necessary aspect is the effective training and development.
The major importance of training and development for employees at Amazon is that this improves the performance of employees. This is pertaining to the fact that when the training relating to latest change is provided to the employees then they work in more effective manner (Armstrong and Landers, 2018). Hence, this result in improvement of employee’s performance and as a result of this the overall company’s performance also improves. Furthermore, this also motivates the employees as their personal development also takes place because of this training.
