2DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Comprehensive Plan Project Requirements The non-functional and functional requirements of the new software which can be accessed and modified by the users as described as below: ï‚·Functional Requirements:The new software will wait for data to be accessible from administrators. Each of the users must be signing up the software with personal details such as name, role in the projects and experience of working in similar projects and contact details.New projects can be added or dropped within a project or project extension can be managed using the new software [4].Measuring of the constraints will be an integrated part of the new system. The new software will be supporting the overlay applications and mobile network support as well. Thus, the entire process of a project can be managed using the new software. ï‚·Non-functional requirements:The non-functional requirements includes the products requirements which are aligned with the project requirements,it will also consider the user interface of the new system and the human factors. The user of this new system must have all the basic idea about the functionality of the new system so that the efficiency of the software is maintained [3]. Tracking of the project records and updating will be done in an organized manner by this new software as well. The new system will not have any compatibility or maintainability issue which can affect the project. Thus, all the quality attributes of the project will be considered by this new system.
3DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Project Effort Monitoring and Tracking Monitoring of each level of the project can be done using the new project management system. The new system will have a separate section which will allow the users to enter details on a daily basis such as designing, coding, project management and testing [5]. All the details of the data will be stored securely in the databases. The data entry steps of the new feature of the project management system are listed below: ï‚·Enter project name. ï‚·View earlier entered requirements. ï‚·Proceed or back to the project name. ï‚·Select current date. ï‚·Enter the effort in the number of person per hour. ï‚·Select department of the concerned person. ï‚·Save data ï‚·Add/ edit data. All these data can be stored and managed both at a daily basis and in a monthly basis. Tracking each of the activities of the project team can be done using the new software. The new system will also have an option which will be allowing the users to view the total expended hours in each phase of the project [2]. The below diagram can be very much important to understand the feature of the new system [5]. Dates can be selected and details can be manually added in the new software based on the availability of the resources.
