I am working on modern
developments in project
management. This chapter helps in
understanding the modern ideas and
methodologies in project
management.
I have come across Honicker
corporation’s case study. It is a
manufacturing firm in United States
that produces high quality
dashboards for the trucks and
automobiles. This corporation faced
growth issues in the international
marketplace, due to ultraconservative
senior management.
As the company was strong enough
for gathering financial help,
Honicker planned to fast route the
products to the companies named
Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta.
Their knowledge about project
management was up to date. The
major challenge was in have all the
divisions at a same level of project
management maturity, with
Enterprise project management
(EPM) system.

understand the acquisitions of
performing a project. I understand
the five maturity levels as follows:

understand.
 Common understanding of
the process.
 Singular methodology, which
identifies the common
process and a structure to
work on that process.
 Benchmarking, identifies the
required improvements by
comparing the process with
the other organizations.
 Continuous improvement
helps to procced the
improvements.
I have experienced the need of step-

work in school. I realize the need of

occurs due to more commitments to
