WAR ON TERROR AFTER 9/11 I. Introduction A. Has the post 9/11 “war on terror” been successful? The most important factor that was undertaken by the US is to eradicate the source of terrorism after the war of 9/11. However, it worsened the situation. Terrorism has grown rapidly in the later years (Abrahms, 2012). More proficiently, terrorism made their hit on the cultural diversities not regarding the effects of the different contradictory forces that raged their part of the war against terrorism. B. Steps of eradicating terrorism was useless The war on the terrorism has affected the growth of the same and thereby the costs incurred by US in eradicating terrorism were useless in this connection. The most important steps that are being undertaken by the US is based on the criteria of the putting an end to the violent practices and the inhuman treatments (Hiro, 2014).The terrorists planned 9/11 in order to cause damage to several thousand innocents resulting to the collateral damage, which the US government desired to stop. However, the steps that are being taken by the US were ineffective as terrorism grew even to a great extent after the war. II. Immigration policy A. Immigration enforcement and devolution after 9/11 The enforcement of the acts have helped the US in monitoring over the immigrants and their actions. The USSC (United States Supreme Court) has undertaken steps in order to make use of the issues that are being faced by the nation in order to make use of the issues faced by the
WAR ON TERROR AFTER 9/11 nation relating to the control (Nacos, 2016). A department was formulated in order to make use of the ‘Department of Homeland Security’ in order to monitor over the immigrants. B. Airport procedure after the attack The regulations that were undertaken by the US governments with the enforcement of the USA PATRIOT Act, theEnhanced Border Security and Visa Entry Reform Act has helped in monitoring over the immigrants (Coleman, 2009). The acts has helped in regulating the entry of the immigrants through the checks on the visa and the passports. It has helped in determining the purpose of the visits. C.Border agencies law enforcement The enforcements have helped in making the systematic progress in the enforcements and the border agencies after the attack. Any sort of infiltration was condemned in order to make user of the resources. The enforcements in the border security was undertaken to discourage infiltration of the terrorists into the nation. Theauthorized federal officers might imprison non- citizens on grounds of the immigration and they need not undertake any legal reviews before attempting the same (Hassanein, 2017). III. Opinion of non-Muslim about Islam A.ISIS established The establishment of the ISIS and the lateral growth of the organization since the 1999 has affected the sense of security. The movement was undertaken with the motive of sustenance and growth of terrorism in the regions in order to fulfill their purposes of the jihad. The purposes had created a great impact on the mindsets of the non-Muslims on Islam. The thought that Islam is a violent religion, which is corrupted by the messages of the messengers is being considered
WAR ON TERROR AFTER 9/11 by the non-Muslims (Fuller, 2015). The most important standpoint where the discussion is being undertaken is based on the proficiency of the Muslims in their individual misconduct and count their multitudes as sacrifices for the purpose of the crusade, the jihad. The misinterpretation of the Quran and its teachings has created serious impact on their cultural outlook. The Muslims are being counted as the followers of the most violent religious practices prevailing in the world. Its views on violence and bloodshed have been creating impacts on the minds of the people. Therefore, the setup of the ISIS has seriously affected the mentality of the people (Moubayed, 2015). B. London attack The London attack is an important outburst of the Muslim sentiments of liberalism, which affected the mindset of the people globally. The important perspectives that are being undertaken by the non-Muslims are through judging the violent mentality of the people in this religion. The London attack that was being undertaken by the terrorists have resulted to the growing perceptions of Islam being a violent religion in the world. IV. The identity of Islam for the public is highly influenced. A. Muslim entry ban The attacks and the threats have considerably changed the outlook of the people. The outlook of the people towards the religion has changed considerably based on the actions undertaken by the terrorists and their beliefs. The Muslims have misinterpreted the teachings of their holy book in order to serve their own purpose of raging wars against the innocents. The only motive, according to the Muslims, is based on the sustenance of their religion by destroying the others(Richardson, 2013). It is a religious biasness that the terrorists are into considers that

WAR ON TERROR AFTER 9/11 they were fighting for sustaining their religion in the world. On the other hand, the steps that aware undertaken by the governments has helped in keeping the terrorists away from the nation. The governments enforced the immigration and the border security act, which restricted the entry of the Muslims in the region. However the steps that aware taken b the governments has created a serious impact on the lives of the innocent Muslims. B. Muslim discrimination The discrimination that was being undertaken by the people is based on the activities undertaken by the other members of the religion in terrorizing the nation’s integrity. The problems that were being faced by the innocent Muslims were huge as they were discriminated and they were made to keep away from the society and their culture. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but because of the actions of their fellow inmates, the innocent Muslims had to suffer- blamed for being Muslims (Coleman, 2009). V. The rise of ISIS A. ISIS and the sectarian conflict in the Middle East The al Qaeda, which was situated in Iraq, aimed at raging a war against the majority of the Shia community of the religion. The sectarian war has resulted to the strikes that killed many people along with the leader who led the group of terrorists. Al-Masri takes the place of the leader and afterwards created the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) in the year 2006. Later, the ISI was absorbed by a al-Qaeda backed military group in Syria to make their progress and expansion. The absorption with the military group has given rise to the ISIS (Moubayed, 2015).
WAR ON TERROR AFTER 9/11 B. Qatar military action The military action of Qatar is based on the importance of the actions that are being undertaken in order to support Turkey in their war against the Russians. This alliance will fetch them their personal benefits. Qatar's official religion is Wahhabi Islam. Through the proper functioning and manipulation of the private and state funds, Qatar aimed at supporting the Taliban of Afghanistan and the other terrorists from Syria and Libya (Bahgat & Medina, 2013). They also supported the Muslim Brotherhood across the region. The steps undertaken by them were based on the objectives of raging the crusade in order to save their religion in the regions. VI. ISIS movement in Syria A. Ideological foundations for the caliphate The caliphate is the state, which the ISIS aims at establishing. It is a concept of the traditional Muslim psychology of undertaking the change in the systems of the society. The caliphate that the ISIS aims at formulating is based on the administration of the states by a caliph or an Islamic steward who will look after the affairs of the Muslims in the region. The foundation of the caliphate is based on the ideologies of the extremist’s biasness (Richardson, 2013) B. Root of jihad The roots of Jihad can be understood as the importance of the functions undertaken by the Muslims in order to retain the faith away from the influences of the Western world. They are based on the faith that is being undertaken by the people in order to sustain their faith on the religion (Fuller, 2015). The people often misinterpret the Jihad, which implies “the struggle”, and they take it as their struggle to prove their biasness in the matters of the world. They mean to destroy all systems that go beyond their limits of understanding (Bahgat & Medina, 2013).
WAR ON TERROR AFTER 9/11 VII. Conclusion The effects of the war have seriously impacted the growth of the terrorists. From the above analysis, the war stimulated the activities undertaken by the terrorists to a great extent. The anarchy that is being created by the people for their distorted mental setup has given rise to issues in the social structure.
