This article deals with the different impacts that are created over the teenager due to the usage of
face book. The research shows that teenagers often try to socialize with other a particularly with
the people of the opposite sex. This shows that the face book users who fall under the category of
teenage group, will try to use this platform so that they can gain the like or the approval of
[people that they are looking for. 87.1% uses social networks on a daily basis and 57.1% two
hours and more daily, but the majority finds enough time to go out. It is alarming that 53% of the
teenagers sacrifice their sleeping and studying time to find time to use social networks (Botou &
Marsellos, 2018). This shows that as face book helped the teenagers to socialize, at the same
time, it also hampers their sleep and also the time that they would have otherwise used for any
kinds of physical activities.

This article is talking about the different impacts that the usage if facebook will be having on the
youth. The teenagers are usually in a very vulnerable position of their life. It is at this point of
time that they tend to get deflected towards many other kinds of activities. However apart from
developing any friendly relations with other users, teenagers also try to take part in many of the
political affairs (Abduab, Mohamada & Mudaa, 2016). This is because factor acts like a platform
and the modern day youth try to for their own opinion and their understandings towards the
political situations and also the political leaders as well. This is because consulting about politics
on face book is a much cost effective and also time optimizing medium. This helps people to be
able to understand the different political agenda that is being set up by the leaders and also the
different ways in which they will be able to use the same.

The online social networking sites like faebook, twitter and other such platforms helps the young
generation to stay in a proper contact with each other irrespective of the geographical barriers
and also there is a exchange of newer and innovative ideas. It is for this reason that the online
social networking sites like that of face book have become highly popular among the young
generation of people (Ophir, Asterhan, Schwarz, 2019). However this platform is also giving rise
to a large number of negative symptoms among youth as well. Teenagers are often suffering
from depressions after sing face book for a long time. As face book is a Universal platform, often
the users suffer from much such discrimination from others. These can take place via some
negative comments or posts being uploaded in face book. Parents, family members and the care
givers are often not capable of understanding the different mind state or the emotional battles
that are going on among their children. It is because of this reason that researchers say the
emotional state of teenagers are often understood from the posts and the tone in which they are
writing their posts.
