This research investigates employee turnover and productivity in the hospitality industry. The study aims to identify major reasons for employee turnover, discuss industry-specific measures to reduce turnover, and explore strategies for increasing staff productivity. A qualitative approach is used, with semi-structured interviews conducted with employees in the hospitality industry. The findings highlight the importance of personal contact in retaining employees and suggest that training can increase productivity. However, a small sample size limits the generalizability of the results.
