INTRODUCTION Digital business defined as technology and new process of business which uses by organisation in order to create the value in business models, customer experience and internal capabilities that helps to support the core functions. For running a business successfully it is important to have good knowledge and skills about technology that being used to operate and manage the activities(Xu and Koivumäki, 2019).Digital transformation is the adoption of digital technology that uses to transform the business services by updating the technological; advancement. This report mainly manly based on Facebook that is American online social media and social networking service based in Menlo Park, California etc. This organisation is running business in digital market by focusing on all activities and function as it serve network worldwide area. The management of such organisation bring new technology and process to serve the better quality of services and products that helps to take the competitive advantages. This report covers summary of finding, set of conclusion and how these apply to a specific sector. Apart from this, strategic recommendation how organisation apply new technology on this sector and faces the challenges. Every person should analysis the performance and new technology that introduced by technicians can be helpful and comparatively(Gupta, Mejia and Kajikawa, 2019). Facebook is larger size American multinational company that managing their business by using digital technology and innovation which can help to attracts the number of people. This application is the example of new technology which introduced by Mark Zuckerberg in order to get close people where ever they sits. This person has developed a social networking service site 1
that uses to get close people and sharing their information. From the coursework it has defined that management of Facebook are using different types of new technology and transformation in their process which can help to deliver the right services by influencing people and managing all functions effectively. This can be assessed from devices with internet connectivity like as personal computer, smartphones, tablets and others electronic devices which uses to create a profile after revealing information about themselves. This technology provides many activities that make easier way for people to share and transform their informations(Kunz, Heinonen and Lemmink, 2019). The basis of Facebook is on various technology that helps in programming, language, and advertising the network etc.that helps to reach the potential customers and delivering good services. The selected organisation is using PHP technology which is famous for scripting language and advertising the network by creating a web page. The technology and digital business helps small businesses and entrepreneurs to start their venture and make the profits. In today's environment technology is most important which uses by management and individual to develop their product and services by managing all activities. In changing environment this become a big platform for people to share their thoughts, views, selling products, searching employment, generating income, contacting with people who are residing in other country and place, delivering quality of services, and others that all are possible through Facebook. This can be an opportunity for organisation to bring something new and innovative feature that yet not come in market and helps to keep connected the people with each other by managing all activities and performance. Facebook is social networking application which uses by organisation in order to get in touch with people and uses different process to influence the people. Many challenges are facing by people in adopting the digital technology and process such as higher cost, cyber killing, lack of clear vision, traffic in sites, connectivity and others that can be drawback for organisation to manage their business by using different process. This is important for organisation to bring the users of new technology and process in their activities which can help to regulate and operate the business by managing activities. Such as Facebook used the Old Emerging theory in to democratic theory that is the best way of traditional period time. In this, people have equal rights and authority to share their ideas and thoughts to make the effective planning and increase the business performance. Under this theory, management of each organisation uses the digital technology such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others all are example of digital technology. products and profitability. The concluded part of reports states that management of Tesco and other retail organisation uses social media and digital transformation in their business which can help to reach the customers and manage the sales. This can help to increase the sales and performance by managing their task effectively. The another theory is Modern quantitative that is very effective and appropriate uses to measure the quantifiable data and making the right business decision. Facebook uses this theory to adopt the new technology and analysing the quantifiable results that helps to maintain the good performance(Kohli and Melville, 2019). Different types of changes and challenges are facing by organisation while running their business in relation to digital disruption in technological sector. For example, people who uses Facebook and connected with number of people have threat of profile hacking by hackers that is serious issues which is related to digital disruption. This type of activities can ruin the life of someone and be considered as cyber crime. For overcoming such challenges, management has introduced new feature name is locked profile has recently launched by Facebook that provide the safety to users to lock their profile and no one can see without their permission. This technology has increase the trust and believes of users and making the uses continuously. This can help to increase the organisational effectiveness by overcoming the problems(Ghobakhloo, 2020). CONCLUSION From the above report it can be concluded that digital technology is the process of bringing new feature and application for people that can be uses to work completion and increasing the performance.
