Evaluation Report on Digital Portfolio for FADM3004 Final Major Project

This evaluation report assesses the strengths and weaknesses of an individual while developing a digital portfolio for FADM3004 Final Major Project. It also discusses the barriers faced and research conducted in relevance with the project design. The report concludes that evaluation reports are beneficial for individuals to ascertain their past performance and move forward for achieving desired objectives.

INTRODUCTION
An evaluation report can be understood as a document which help in examining a
product, service, process is according to standards to not (Li and Et. Al., 2022). This report helps
in assessing past performance and also set a transparent basis for checking the accountability of
outcomes in a strategic manner. It also assist individuals in discovering differential processes as
well as practices which help them in gaining insights regarding their performance level. This
evaluation report concludes three questions which give answers for possessed strengths,
weaknesses, faced challenges, conduction of primary and secondary research in relevance with
chosen project design.
Evaluation Report
What were your strengths and weaknesses while developing this design?
Strengths- While attending module of business and management, I have leant numerous
things which are considered as strengths for me. During the module, I had been given lessons
regarding recruitment process as well as materials used in this aspect. I had also given a group
task which is based on making presentation. Through this, I had enhanced my teamwork and
presentation skills which will help me in later years at my employability. I also gain confidence
by presenting my views on a specified topic and leant about my strength of effective public
speaking. Through this module, I gained knowledge regarding recruitment which can help me in
choosing my career path after completing graduation.
Weaknesses- I had analysed that I am not able to manage my time as per the schedule for
completing the assigned task in an effective manner. I faced issues regarding preparing questions
for questionnaire in regards with primary research for this project. I was not able to find the
relevant authors for completing my secondary research in a strategic manner. These are two
weaknesses for which I need to work for enhancing them.
Did you face any barriers, if so, what you did to overcome them?
I faced varied obstacles while performing this task as I have to manage a lot of areas for
this. I was not aware of preparing mind map and mood boards as I have not created it previously.
I also face problems in formulating a questionnaire and discovering sustainability standards for
introducing digitalised CV. Mind maps are considered as visual representation tool which can
effectively bifurcate varied activities (Sari and Aditama, 2020). I also face problems in dealing

with respondents at the time of filling up of questionnaire due to differentiated understanding and
maturity level. These problems are overcome by me through practising the structure of mind map
and mood boards in a strategic manner. For dealing with respondents effectively, I had use my
strength of public speaking and try to make them understand about my project ans its necessity.
Did you conduct strong primary and secondary research?
Primary research is concerned with performing surveys and interviews which can be done
through digitalised or manual manner (Qizi and Qizi, 2021). I essentially conducted primary as
well as secondary research for my project regarding sustainable practices which can be adopted
by Swap & Hire for making their recruitment system effective. With the help of conducting of
primary and secondary research, I had found solutions to varied issues and I could potentially
make them out in an effective manner. Questionnaire is considered as easy way for conducting of
primary research due to its low cost. It can be made simply through the help of technology and
can be sent to massive number of respondents on an instant basis.
Lack of time-management skills have led me to act lazily for preparing questionnaire and
also searching websites for secondary research. However, I was able to find relevant sources in
regards with performing secondary research after much search. Secondary research is concerned
with evaluating and using the information which is collected through websites, blogs and internet
(Largan and Morris, 2019). In regards with primary research, I used digitalised formats for
registering questions. This has helped me in sending the questionnaire to large number of people.
However, I selected sample size of 10 people who can provide me answers to questions
registered in questionnaire.
In order to conduct strategic secondary research, I evaluated each source on the basis of
their updated information and credible writers. I had used a test which help me to evaluate
currency, relevance, authority, accuracy and purpose of the research. This has helped me in
performing my secondary research in an effective manner.

CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned information, it has been concluded that evaluation report is
beneficial for individuals for ascertaining their past performance and moving forward for
achieving desired objectives. This evaluation report is based on the performance of an individual
who have completed this project of introducing a digitalised recruitment material in an effective
manner. This digitalised practices are used for adopting sustainable practices at organisational
operations in a strategic manner. Recruitment plays a significant role in persuading the
candidates for applying for a vacant position. It is imperative for organisations for adopting
sustainable practices in relevance with introduction of digitalised recruitment materials in an
effective manner.
