Task 1
The paper mainly focuses on the organization “Literature Hideout” which is one of
the small book shop that sells second hand books. The organization is run by a group of three
team members including Andrea, Bernita and Christina. It is found that both the employees
Andrea and Bernita are semi-retired co-workers who does not take salary for the work but
Christina is an employee of the organization who is generally paid $22per hour. Cristina is
replaced for four weeks by an employee who charges $33 per hour. Fixed cost including rent
as well as insurance are $2900 per year where the utilities generally cost $140 per month. The
calculation that is made for calculating the operating cost is provided in the table below:

It is found that by using the excel and by processing the history of purchase that is
present in the spreadsheet, proper calculations are done for calculating how the prices that are
generally paid to the staffs differs for each staff member and hoe the prices generally changes
with time. In order to calculate how the prices which are paid to each member differs, the
formula that is utilized is provided below:

The calculation that is provided reflects that the Andrea gains 1.76069061 in average
when the condition of the book is poor whereas Christina gains 1.6348315 in an average
when the book condition is poor. When the condition of book is good, Andrea gains 4.694595
in an average, Bernita gains 5.441176 whereas Christina gains 6.425 in an average.

Task 3
The entire procedure of the organization is generally made automated by using excel
spreadsheet. Firstly, the value including the date, time, day, name of the staff as well as
conditions of the books are entered. In order to make sure about the offer that is mainly
provided to the books, the formula that is used in the excel sheet is mainly provided below:

It is found that by utilizing the excel, two scenarios that are provided reflects proper
prices for each scenario. By considering the first scenario, it can be analyzed that total offers
are properly the same as the historical data. On the other band it is found that by considering
the second scenario it is reflected that all the books are sold that generally helps in allowing
all the staffs for drawing wages as Christina. The information is mainly reflected in the
