INTRODUCTION
Virtual learning environment are introduced for the purpose of student progress from
passive to the active learning. Active learning is promoting the process of critical thinking skills
that is very essential for the purpose of classroom acquired knowledge in the clinical setting.
Virtual learning environment is increasingly important component of development in certain
range of disciplines. Present report is based on understanding the impact of virtual learning
environment on students. There is use of both primary and secondary data sources for the
purpose of making a detailed evaluation (Krikun, 2017). The present pandemic situation there is
use of online survey methods for the purpose of collecting the primary sources of information as
there is no face to face contact. For the purpose of conclusion and drawing the relevant
recommendations there is application of the collected information according to the laid
objectives of the research.

The objectives of the present research report are mentioned below:
1. To understand the concept of virtual learning
2. To analyse the impact of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) on students
Literature review:
Concept of virtual learning

with the online courses an online environment but it has a broader dimension. It is the experience
that is enhanced with utilisation of computers and internet both from the inside and outside
facilities of education organisation. The instruction commonly takes place in the online virtual

learners are physically separated according to the place time. There are certain aspects that are
affecting the quality of online education that depends on the use of digital technology according
to the modern theories. Such as first theory is cognitive- it is focusing on the role of cognitive
process and mind in the learning process. It explains the basic way in which the brain is
functioning and the way cognitive development forms the foundation of learning. Cognitive
studies help educators in understanding the way people are learning and the teaching taking place
in a more effective manner. Virtual learning can be applied with customisable learning
environment and personalized learning applications.
Another theory of social constructivism teaching and learning explains as complex
interactive social phenomena that is taking place between students and teachers. Learning
activities have to be focused on experience sharing collaborative learning and the teamwork.
Social constructivism find perfect application in brainstorming group discussion small group
activities and problem based learning. Environment can be created by virtual classroom for the
purpose of life online teaching with the application of interactive tools such as collaborative web
based conferencing online whiteboard screen sharing or Breakout rooms (Virtual Learning –
basic characteristics and benefits, 2020).
The impact of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) on students

that is functionally effective and generally takes place in absence of traditional classroom

the course is content delivered online. For the purpose of analysing the impact of online learning

prove the quality of student learning experience in colleges and Universities. There has been a
definition that student engagement is the time and energy that students are devoting to
educational sound activities inside and outside the classroom practices and policies that

there can be a negative environment as there is no direct contact takes place between the teacher
and student those results in to students becoming more negligence and not interested in the
classroom learning environment. Sometimes it leads to a complete negative impact on their
existing efficiency towards their education and this has a result on the final outcomes in their
examinations. The organisations of who are part of providing online learning experience to do
student have to focus on several elements such as virtual instruction, effective communication
timely feedback use of efficient actors and cognitive under load of students. The present scenario
of covid-19 is more focus on social distancing and use of online medium for the purpose of
carrying down the education learning of students. In this the online digital learning environment
has played a very crucial role in ensuring that the process of learning does not stops the cause of
such a pandemic impact. These education institutions have focused on collaborative learning and
increased level of activity for increase student retention and success.
Methodology:
Research methodology:
Research methodology is defined as the specific techniques of procedures that are used
for the purpose of identification and selection process and analysing of the information related to
the topic. The section of the Research report helps in readers evaluating the method selected for
the purpose of achievement of laid research objectives. In the present research report there has
been application of both primary and secondary sources of information for the purpose of
collecting the required information.
Primary Data Analysis:
In the primary data analysis there has been collection of the first hand information from
the target segment of audiences that is students who are actually going to the process of virtual
learning environment. There is no use of any type of face to face interviews but selection of
online information for the purpose of ensuring that there is safety of students. There is use of a
questionnaire approach for the purpose of analysing the different types of reactions and
responses that are provided by the students. For the purpose of connecting the information there
has been a respondent base of 20 students that have been selected.

approach there is collection of information by use of online sources and journal articles
according to the provided research title and objectives. These are already available information
sources will assist in drawing the relevant conclusion according to the research objectives

mixed response of students as a response at a positive response they replied that is somewhere
there is reduction in effectiveness in the virtual learning environment. While 5 had negative view
that there is no reduction in the effectiveness because of virtual learning environment. Remaining
7 out of 20 had a mixed view that they were not sure about it.

learning on students so that it becomes easy to use. Therefore there are some recommendations
which are discussed below-
It is recommended that when going with virtual learning environment it is important
to have a proper monitoring and controlling of students activities so that learning is
being given to them properly.
It is also recommended that proper safety and measures are to be adopted when
implementing virtual learning so that only study material is opened by students.
It is also recommended that when adopting e learning traditional learning need not to
be emitted or neglected as because they both are important for providing learning.

From the above analysis of report, it has been stated that learning is essential in individual
life and need to be carried out properly. So, when focusing on gaining knowledge and type of
alternators and methods are to be adopted so that objectives are achieved. This report is brief
information about digital marketing and affected students behaviour. It is seen that a proper
analysis and monitoring is required when focusing on e-Learning concept.
