Abstract
The growing impact of the digital technology has certain impact on the health care sector. In this
context the research has been conducted on the impact of the digital technology on the eHelath
service of Home to Hospital health care limited. Qualitative research methodology has been
adopted in the development of this research. The main objective of this research paper is to find
out the positive or negative impact of the digital technology on the eHelath service. In order to
do this certain questions have been asked to the selected employees of the organization. The
analysis is based on the requirements and the findings from the survey of the survey. It has been
found out that the impact of the digital technology on the organization is positive. Apart from
that this will also bring the flexibility in the service of the business and the interaction with the
consumers. The justification of choosing the sampling type and the research methodology are
given in a proper way. Apart from that conclusion and the recommendations are made on the
basis of the discussion and findings from the information obtained from analysis. Different forms
of possible digital disruption has been discussed which will bring the effective changes in the
business of the Home to Hospital eHelath care service.

CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the study
The way of conducting business operations keep changing as interaction occur between
digital and physical world. Because of digital technology, new business opportunities are coming
up which initially were not available. Therefore, customers have been having better experience
as they make interactions with the business organisations (Rigby, 2011). Furthermore, it is now
more easy to conduct business transaction.
There are e-commerce strategies which had been developed throughout the world by
business organisations because of the wide adoption of internet (Geyskens et al., 2002). In
healthcare settings, there have been development of eHealth services also. Furthermore, there is
increase in the use of smartphones by customers. This had enhanced their connectivity to the
internet in any place they are. It was noted that there is rise in sales of smartphones more than
that of Personal Computer (Canalys, 2011). This is particularly true in both developed and
developing countries because customers found smartphones to be cheaper. Thus, the customer
behavior has been transformed and as well expectations of customers have been revolutionalised
(Bain, 2012).
As explained by previous researchers, digital technology cannot be separated from
business activities. It is indeed a significant means of growing business, making profit, and
market differentiation. Engaging the service users in healthcare settings is more practical with
usage of digital technology. With digital technology, there is improvement in management of

health records of patients, services like healthcare from home, and improvement in diagnostic
tests process.
1.2 Research Aim
The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of digital technology on business activities
of Home from Hospital Healthcare.
1.3 Objectives
To understand the concept of digital technology in the Healthcare system.
To evaluate the adoption of digital technology in the Home from Hospital Healthcare
Limited.
To evaluate the impact of digital technology on training of professionals in Home from
Hospital Healthcare.
To investigate the impact of digital technology on human resource management in the
organization of study.
To evaluate how digital technology had impacted the interraction between the Home
from Hospital Healthcare Limited and the customers.

1.5 RESEARCH PROJECT STRUCTURE
Research project structure is concerned about the structure that the research has followed
during the development. In this the structure of the research is as follows:
Introduction: It states the background of the research and comes up with the research
aim and objective. Stating and identifying the research aim and objective are important as it
helps the research to deliver the right outcome.
Literature review: The review of the literature is concerned about discussion of the
mentioned topic from the different aspects. Various articles and the journals are consulted to
understand the significance of the research topic.
Research methodology: Research methodology is concerned about the conduction of the
research. In this case, the qualitative research method is used. Along with that different attributes
related to the research methodology such as sampling has also been discussed in this section.
Data collection and analysis: The data collection and the analysis are concerned about
the collection of the information from the survey and analysis the result of the survey. The
conclusion can be made from the analysis of the survey information.
Discussion and findings: The findings from the analysis of the data are stated in this
section. The findings from the analysis of the data is helpful to reach to the purpose of the
research.

Conclusion and recommendations: The conclusion and recommendation section is
concerned about the assumptions these can be made from the research and the collected
