It has changed the lifestyle ofpeople. Technology is highly used by hospitality sector to grow and expand. It has entirelychanged the traditional way of doing business. Digital technology consists of various tools andequipment through which business is earning huge profits. It has given ease to housekeepingoperations as well as provided a platform of expansion. (Fitzgerald, Bonnet and Welch, 2014)There has been significantly change in the methods and process of housekeeping servces. Thishas made it easy to achieve goals and objectives.Mostly, hospitality sector is benefited from it. Itis because of development of opera system. It has been highly used in housekeeping services. Ithas allowed many facilities such as check in and out time, arrivals, departures, etc. it also helpsin giving accurate forecast of bookings that has been confirmed. The most feature it contains isproper and effective allocation of rooms. This has useful in using the full efficiency of hotel sothat high revenue can be generated. In addition to this, it provides reports such as discrepancyand status of rooms, front office check, etc. this has helped in increasing efficiency of staff aswell as hospitality sector. Opera system also gives different reports such as status change, groupcheck, etc. It has integrated overall housekeeping operations that have improved the servicequality as well as efficiency of employees. Moreover, it has enabled hospitality sector tointegrate its operations so that productivity can be enhanced (Arts, van der Wal and Adams,2015). However, there are many challenges that have occurred while implementing the operasystemRationale of researchThis research will help in identifying the way opera systemhas transformed varioushousekeeping operations. It will help hotels to implement tools and techniques so thatproductivity can be effectually enhanced.Along with this, research will give somerecommendations on how efficiency can be maintained.

It is very important to work in a systematic way as it helps in deciding the next step. Inthis way, the desired outcomes can be gained. Apart from this, business needs to complete thetasks in specific time period so that it can effectually grow and develop. There are severalelements that must be considered by the business (Blackwell, Lauricella and Wartella, 2014) Itwill help in achieving the set goals and objectives. These are as follows:Cost –It is the most important element in conducting research. It is because; it provides essentialresources that are needed. Therefore, business must identify the overall cost of research. It willbe easy for them to perform alltasks in a smooth way. Besides this, it will provide quality incollecting data and analysing it. For this, the estimated cost needed will be 250 Euros.Risk –Business must identify the possibilities of risk by doing risk assessment. It is because;risk can highly impact the effectiveness of functions that are performed. The elements of riskassociated with this research are time and cost (Nambisan, 2017) It may take a lot to time andcost in conducting research. Other than this, sometimes, issues can be faced regarding filling ofquestionnaire or conducting interviews. This is because; respondents might say no to fill thequestionnaire.Scope-There are certain aim and objectives that are included in research. Thus, it is necessary toachieve those so that effective outcomes can be effectually obtained. Hotels can develop severalstrategies in order to grow and develop. This can be done by targeting new markets so that morepeople can be attracted (Hermsen, Frost and Kerkhof, 2016) Moreover, research will help ingiving recommendations on how to improve overall efficiency and productivity of hotels.Time-This is also a crucial element in which research has to be completed in specific timeframe. This can be done by developing schedule for each activity. It will be beneficial to attainthe goals and objectives in given time period.Quality -It is another important element through which results can be achieved in hotels. Thiselement is highly considered in collecting primary data because fresh and relevant information isrequired in order to attain goals. Collecting more qualitative data will help in getting specificoutcomes (Ball, Ladel and Siller, 2018).
