The implications of digital technology on a consultancy firm for better recruitment of
people.
INTRODUCTION
A research is an essential aspect through which better derivation of outcome could be
drawn in near future consideration. It is really important to conclude a better and signified study
on a topic so that better and derivative could get done (Barrett and et. al., 2015). This project is
based on evaluating the implications of digital technology on business of small firms so that they
could maintain and manage their working in a better frame. Thus, small business association
required to understand such frame in an effective and beneficial manner so that they could gain
and define beneficial attribute in nature (Ainin and et. al., 2015). This study will used to reflect
on a consideration of implications of digital technology on recruitment company Roc Search.
They are small business organisation whom want to determine implication of recent technology
so that better and effective recruitment used to take place. Roc Search is a medium size tech or
engineering recruitment expertise company, which provides effective recruitment facilities to
their clients companies or individuals. The company majorly focused on choosing candidate with
specific skills and uniqueness in respect to rendering good talents as per the need and wants of
firm.
Roc Search was founded in the year 2007 with a Managing Director Conor Roughneen
with a key principles honesty, integrity and communication. These principles required to fulfil in
a better and signified frame so that effective recruitment used to take place in a determined
manner. Roc have unique monthly awards recognising sales performance and those who embody
the company values, with holiday awards to Europe and America.
Thus, this study will enable and support in enabling them that things went well or not
while implementing digital technology on business. With this aspect, they used to launch their
application which further enable in recruiting and selecting better and signified individual for a
determined job position. This will result in defining things better so that effective gain could be
estimated (Burns, 2016). This project will used to include about appropriate research
methodologies and approaches for defining the project in better manner. Along with this, there
will be various tools and techniques get utilise for analysing the outcome and gather them in a

definite manner. Thus, at the end of the project, a beneficial conclusion get drawn which signify
that this project have a worth for an association or not.

A study define and clearly describe certain number of points and aspects which need to
determine while conducting or organising a study. These points and aspects associated with aim
and objectives for an investigation so that an appropriate and suitable conclusion could be drawn
for deriving effective and beneficial gain. Thus, with this project, following are certain number
of aspects which included in this project which prepared for Roc Search whom are one of a small
consultancy firm in UK. They want to determine about implications of digital technology on
business operations when they used to launch application of their own so that individual could
easily reach them (Dodgson and et. al., 2015). For this aspect, they have prepared an aim with
certain objectives and hypothesis so that project used to get done and reach to its extent for
providing better results:
Aim: To determine the implications of digital technology on a consultancy firm for better
recruitment – A case study on Roc Search.
Objectives: A project reach to its extent when it has prepared and work on certain number
of objectives. These objectives work as a guideline for the project which prepare on the aim so
that better and signified limitations could remove as well as an effective project get
implemented. This will result in drawing beneficial attribute for deriving suitable and effective
consideration in nature:
 To evaluate the impact of digital technology on consultancy firm.
 To measure the response of digital technology on business while implementing such
technology
 To determine the relationship between digital technology and working operations of
consultancy firm.
Apart from all these aspects and consideration, certain questions get design on the basis
of objectives of the project (Donnelly and et. al., 2015). These questions support in designing
questionnaire so that appropriate attribute could be drawn in order to maximise effectiveness and
efficiency in frame of reference:

done. In this aspect, study could get done by two major techniques one is primary through
questionnaire and another one is secondary source of information. These questions get address
through secondary source of information which get done by consulting various books and
journals. This will result in determining beneficial and effective gain so that further consideration
become possible.

included. This will result in evaluating and determine the beneficial attribute in frame so that
appropriate results could be drawn on the project for managing effective understanding:

used for altering and changing the business techniques and methods which provide new revenue
and income for increasing high level of opportunities. There are certain impact of digital
technology which can directly effect on their business operations and its functions which are
discussed as follows: Enhancing income- For using and adopt effective digitalisation, the company can
smoothly be running their business procedure of firm in proper manner. They required to
update and upgraded the digital techniques and methods with the help of online presence
that can give essential chances for consultancy firm. Accessibility of advanced customer's base- For increasing in digital participation and
engagement that will allow consultancy firm for exploring new market place, able them
for complete high competitors in particular industry. Along with this, e-commerce giving
cost effective solution for firm and some rural locations can make easy connection with
their buyers in appropriate way. Operational efficiencies- It is essential for firm is to access the e-commerce stage which
can help in allowing them to consultancy organisation for reducing the entire income or

 Lack of infrastructure and deficient finances- This is that issue and problem which

functions in better manner. At the time implementation of technology, firstly company will be
identifying major risk factors which create major issues and problems within an enterprise. This
will directly impact on new techniques, data and information, communication technologies and
manpower changes for associated with them that can help in making innovative and complex
work practices (Kenney and Zysman, 2015). For measuring the response of digital technology
while executing in the organisation. There are certain positive impacts and challenges for
employees that includes requirements for increasing training and development procedures. There
are various factors which describe the importance while implementing technology in an
organisation that are as under: Easily communicate with customers – This is the first stage in which firm can directly
adopt digital technology within an enterprise and also this will impact on company
capacity and ability for interacting with their potential buyers. This is necessary for firm
employees is to appropriately communicate with their customers in rapid manner. Efficiency of business operations – Ainin and et. al., (2015) revealed that in an
organisation, digital technology helps in understanding and evaluating their cash flow
demand and prevent their previous resources that includes time space and physical. In
addition to this, organisation will adopt digital techniques and methods that can assist in
determining the business operations and also manage their stored cost for holding
effective products and services in proper manner.
 Developing strong relationship among employees – Digital technology help in
increasing company staff member’s ability and capability for doing effective work which
assist in getting desired goals and objectives. This method aids them for doing together
