INTRODUCTION
Digital transformation is integration of digital technology in various operation of
business so that quick and timely services can be delivered to end customers in limited time
frame. With development of technologies, companies are planning to adapt to digital
technologies in order to meet customer's expectancy beyond their requirements. This report is
about Age UK which is registered charity in United Kingdom that was initially established on 25
February 2009 for older people. The purpose of report is to understand the way company lead
digital transformation to make customers happy and satisfied. It has included crucial information
related to Age UK structure, mission, vision and organization strategy and review of social
media amongst older adults.
1. RESULTS
A) Crucial information related to Age UK
Age UK structure is local charity company that has been established in order to delivered
services or supports to older adults. The enterprise has make partners to national charity that is
governed by Board of Trustees. The company has systematic organization structure that
contribute in effective flow of information and task that needs to be completed by specific
individuals. Roles and responsibilities that need to be completed by staff member are clearly
defined that helps in delivering services to people in minimum time (Sheremetyeva, Gorshkova,
and Mitropolskaya-Rodionova, 2020).
Moreover, it can be stated that Age UK have more friendly, supportive and creative
culture that contribute staff member to dedicatedly work together as team for achievement of
company goals. The company has tried to create healthy and safe working culture by respecting,
recognizing and rewarding each employees for their hard work and determination (Zain, 2020).
The aim or mission of company is “To increase the range and quality of services so that better
supports can be provided to older adults people”. Thus company focused to organized range of
programme across UK with local partners to give supports to people in later life so that their
feeling of loneliness and isolation can be reduced.
There are several competitors of UK age such as Alzheimers society, childline and
Disabled living foundation. The Age UK has provided various services to customer's such as
cafe and restaurants at which older people can get relaxed together by having cooked meal or tea.
