Services LTD during the pandemic of COVID-19
According to Vogelsang and et. al., (2020), there are various challenges which are
associated with implementing digital workplace transformation. In the time of COVID this is
examined that digital workplace transformation is one of the major concern which was followed
by the organisation as this has maximised employee productivity and aspects to manage the
business. This is one of the challenging measures which is to be followed within workplace so
that to develop the business and to acquire success as well (Breuer and Szillat, 2019). The
implication of practices of digital workplace transformation is related with developing
organisational productivity and efficiency as well. In terms of developing the business this can
be said that there are significant challenges which are being faced by Streetwise Services LTD
which are demonstrated as under:
Organisational resistance to change: In the context of any supposed change when employees
are comfortable with old tools, practices and tactics then this would lead into minimised interest
of employees in acquiring new processes and technology within business as change. As digital
technology is not about changing the technology within business it is about changing and
shaping organisational culture and methods. In order to develop success ratio of digital
workplace transformation this is imperative for the managers to implement digital culture and to
develop organisational structure in such a way that digital culture within organisation can be
developed (Pousttchi et al., 2019).
Data and application security: Data security and application is another issue which is seen
during implication of digital technologies. This is examined that due to implication of digital
technologies data application and security are considered as the major threat which is hard to
adopt for the organisation (Pousttchi and et. al., 2019). It is regarded as the major threat in which
various complications are seen and would result into mismanagement within organisation. End
use security is the major concern of the organisation when they are willing to develop digital
workplace transformation. In order to develop such measures within businesses this is significant
measures in which these errors can be eliminated. Data security is regarded as such aspect which
are required to be developed in such a manner that threat of data theft can be avoided. When an

organisation is being afraid of data insecurity then it is not possible for them to implement such
methods within their business.
Resolving issue in training and development: Another consequences of developing digital
workplace is to provide training and development measures to employees so that they can work
accordingly and acquire separate edge as well for this. It is not possible that without getting
appropriate training and development is necessary which is having high cost of operations. This
may have implications in profits margin of the organisation as well (Herbert, 2017). So, this can
be said that in order to implement digital workplace transformation major challenges are related
with providing training and development aspects within employees.
Research Methodology
Research is defined as the procedure of systematic activities which include data
collection, data analysis, data interpretation, gathering of information, development of valid
conclusion in order to achieve objectives of conducting the project (Hoon and Singh, 2019). In
addition to this, it is important for researchers to make use of effective research methods so that
valid and reliable conclusion can be drawn (Tiwari, Arya and Bansal, 2017). There are mainly
two methods of resources such as quantitative and qualitative research which are as follow:
Qualitative research: It is a method of gathering non numerical information which is
used in order to increase understanding about the opinions and reasons associated with
the research topic. In addition to this, the data gathered through this method include
human behavior within a specific situation. There are various methods to conduct
qualitative research such as observation, group discussion an many more. The qualitative
research include open-ended question and it is semi structured in nature (Ørngreen and
Levinsen, 2017).
Quantitative research: It is defined as a way of gathering numerical information that is
based on some facts and figures. This type of research is applied when population is large
or sample size is large. There are different methods to conduct quantitative resource such
as correlation research, online service, cross sectional service and many more. It involves
close ended question an is highly in a structured manner (Pandey and Pandey, 2021).
For the present study, quantitative research method will be used by researcher in order to
get numerical information and also to gain in-depth knowledge about the topic. One of the

12 | P a g e
main reason behind selecting quantitative research is it help investigator in gaining in depth
information which is based on facts and figures (Cuervo‐Cazurra and et. al., 2017).
Primary research: It is defined as collection of data for the first time and is original in
nature. There are different methods to collect primary information such as interviews,
observation, questionnaire and many more (Kanu, 2019). It is analysed that collecting primary
information is a time consuming procedure and requires high time and money of investigator
(Nayak and Singh, 2021).
Secondary research: It is defined as a method of gathering data through past information
or the data that is existing. The different methods of collecting secondary information is Internet,
libraries, magazines, journals, articles, newspaper and so on. Collecting secondary information
consume less time and resources of investigator (Daniel, 2018). For the present study, both
primary and secondary data collection method is used by researcher (da Silva, 2017). For
collecting primary information, questionnaire will be developed by researcher and to collect
secondary information various journals and books is taken into consideration by investigator.
The main reason to select primary data collection method is it help in gaining in-depth
information about the topic (Babii, 2020).
Sampling: it is defined as the process to select sample size from the total population in
order to gather information about the topic. There are mainly two types of sampling method that
is probability sampling and non probability sampling. In context to the present study, probability
sampling will be used by researcher. The 20 respondents who are the employees of streetwise
services is chosen as participants to collect information about the topic. The main reason behind
selecting employees as participants is they have knowledge about the policies and ground level
working of the organization (Mishra and Alok, 2017).
Research Philosophy: Research philosophy refers to the methodology that provides
certain beliefs and principles to complete the whole investigation (Daniel and Harland, 2017).
The philosophy is categorised in two kinds that are: positivism and interpretivism philosophy
(Edson, Henning and Sankaran, 2016). Investigator has selected positivism philosophy because
it assists in examining and evaluating the accumulated numerical piece of information.
Investigator has not used interpretivism philosophy as it does not support numerical data in the
very short time period. Hence, positivism philosophy is chosen by researcher to analyse the
collected data so defined objective could be accomplished (Ledford and Gast, 2018).

Research Approach: Research approach is the research methodology that has a
procedure and plan that consists of the steps of wide assumptions to detailed methods of data
analysis, interpretation and collection. Generally, it is based upon the nature of research problem
being approached (Marshall, Coleman and Reason, 2017). The approach has two major types
that are: inductive and deductive approach. Investigator has selected deductive approach because
it assists in analysing and interpreting accumulated data. Deductive approach facilitates in the
evaluation of accumulated numerical information in timely manner. Investigator has not chosen
inductive approach because it does not help in the evaluation of numerical piece of information
in the short time duration (Ngozwana, 2018).
Research Strategy: Research strategy is defined as the research methods that help in the
procedure of accumulating information from various sources. The different kinds of research
strategies include: grounded theory, survey, action research, observation etc. Investigator has
selected survey as one of the strategies of investigation because it assists in collecting numerical
as well as primary information (Chatterji and et. al., 2016). Survey helps researcher in selecting
human participants so that they could give information all they have related to the matter of the
study. In the survey strategy, researcher has opted questionnaire as an instrument. Questionnaire
is very appropriate instrument to take out needed and required information. It has certain close-
ended questions that are asked from chosen human respondents (Devi, 2017).
Time Horizon: Time is referred as the element that facilitates in completing every
activity and task in specified and appropriate way (Reilly, Souder and Ranucci, 2016). Time
horizon plays very significant role in scheduling activities and tasks so that objectives could be
attained. Time horizon is divided into two main kinds that are: cross-sectional and longitudinal
time horizon. Researcher has chosen cross-sectional time horizon because it assists in collecting
insights from a target audience at a specific time interval (Abutabenjeh and Jaradat, 2018).
Data Analysis: Data analysis is referred as the methodology that helps in analysing the
information in effective and efficient way. There are two kinds of data analysis that include:
