Torres Strait is a narrow passage of which connects the two water bodies. It is an island
located between Australia and the Malanesian island of New Guinea. There are around 6800
Torres Strait Islanders who properly live on the islands and around 42000 people managed to
live on the mainland. In case of Aboriginal people are refers to those who belongs to this '
Aboriginal race of Australia.' They live on mainland of Australia or on the island of Tasmania
